I agree..I would say vendors for 1-18 + stats talis since they are green and ez crafted anyway...why not ? for the newcomers who have no idea how to craft.

Here are examples of level 24 tallies and level 25 potions. Guess I should have included that in the op.

Major Talisman of Fortitude
Level: 24
Effect: + 13 Wounds

Major Talisman of the Smith
Level: 24
Effect: + 90 Armor Bonus

Draught of Aid
Level: 25
Desc: Use: Instantly restores 964 health
A reasonable RvR system that could make the majority happy http://imgur.com/HL6cgl7

totaly agree, this is perfect and would help a lot newcomers, they have no idea what to do.. there is so much stuff to get started in crafting and all, farming areas, addons etc.. but I doubt they will ever do this.. you need to make a post under game balancing discussion.

In the original game there were lowbie tali's you could get.

There were often repeatable quests in the lower tier quest camps that gave quests that you could repeat that gave talis / potions.

Some of these work now, but they are not repeatable. If they were fixed you'd have what you want.

This is unlikely that it would be implemented. Seems like "free stuff" that you don't need to work for, even if you are paying a couple silver from a vendor.

If you want to see a difference on potion/tali prices on the AH, then make some yourself and post them cheaper than the competitors. Do enough volume and the average prices will come down. After a couple weeks of pumping cheap crap onto the AH, you can stop once those prices are stabilized where you want them.

This is actually a project I've had my eye on for a while, but my first swing at it went... poorly.

Even very low (+4 to a stat) talismans added to every quest in the Empire chapter 2 quests would be an improvement for actual new players. I'll occasionally pump out a ton of low level crap talis that no one will buy and are a waste of limited auction house space. I'll fly to nordland and distribute them but if I can't find any players they just get vendored.

Tossing then into pre existing quests rewards would not hurt a non existing market and give absolute newcomers a chance to put crap in their crap gear. It's not been uncommon to find a /5 warrior looking to crush skulls in scenarios who hasn't a single tali slotted..
