But still I thing the proposed changes are as rough as moving Hand of Ruin and Impending Doom to 13p.

Well, nothing here has been proposed yet. Also, for me to propose something, we would need a second Balance Moderator (cause I can't moderate myself, right?). And then you guys can debunk me as much as you want.

Question.

If a blorc has a bigger armour debuff and a chosen has a wounds debuff the same size as mine, Why would anyone take a mara over a welf or chopper?

On the general nerf to armour levels would that not be a bit of a boost to physical tanks? because atm they are already have very good dps.
Khorlar, Thorvold, Sjohgar, Anareth, Toldavf, Hartwin, Gotrin and others -_-

Good thing no one has suggested swapping Mara's armor debuff with BO's, or their wounds debuff with Chosen's one.

The only "swap" i suggested was BG with Mara (armor debuff). Nothing more. There is even a proposal (from Tesq :D ) that I plan on moving soon, so I hope you guys go there and try to debunk (or support?) him.

Bo used to had best destru armour debuff, back when mara one was crap , and while it needed a tactic, it was anhilated to give mara that role, i dont understand why swaping mdps skills and tanks is a good idea.

@Penril Tesq proposal consist a WL nerf aswell. So even if he has no WL he can do a WL proposal aswell?
Shouldnt the proposal be divided up into a Mar and WL proposal then? Even if he has one (not sure) you cant even compare both because the Mar has all three debuffs and the WL doesnt. I am just curious.

If by moving to the Declined section then its fine by me.

I don't see the point of nerfing mdps just so the tanks have all the good stuff aside from incoming 50% healing debuffs, like higher value debuffs, longer cc and punts, incredible tankyness or decent sustained damage if specced for it - on top of guard.

I thought of making a proposal about removing armor talismans from the game, which would provide a stable base level of armor as a sort of even playing field, where we could finally hope to determine what to do about said armor debuffs.

With armor fluctuating from ~2k average to 4k+ with full 164 talismans in every possible slot and anti-crit renown - we get people from both sides arguing where the former get oneshots and the latter laugh at 150 non crit hits.

Correct. When I move it, we will only be discussing Mara/BG.

@Scrilian: I don't decline proposals just because I dislike them (nor do I move them just because I like them). If he:

a) Follows the format, and
b) Has a rr40 character of the class he is discussing,

Then I pretty much have to move the proposal. Unless it is something extremely ridiculous like, say, reduce Word of Pain's Cd to 5 seconds because it being at 10 breaks your rotations. Or giving Pounce to Maras. Or giving a Corp debuff to Zealots in a different tree because you don't like having it on the right tree. You get the idea.

If by "all the good stuff" you mean "is the most potent tree," then yeah... But I fail to see the comparison to getting a heal debuff, wounds debuff, and armor debuff.
