BTW, you suggested to :
-a. lock 15 minutes a BO ( remove it 15 minutes from the numbers of objectives > focusing on less objectives > less dynamic > more Blob).

-b. invite sharp guys to find a good way to enhance their mutual contribution (BO trading).

We are just debating. 8-)

But its more than just the BO locking.

BO locks due to inactivity, defending, taking.
inactivity lock happens when no one tries to recapture BO. Defending/taking a BO could take another 5min or longer. Its doubtful all BOs would be locked at the same time and BOs would unlock.

The dynamic comes in from, not recapturing a BO(inactivity lock), defending a captured BO from attackers(locks), retaking a previous captured BO from enemy(locks), taking and defending a BO(locks).
And only a locked BO would produce regeneration, supplies, travel access. Players would still need to be spread out to prevent or to enable all of the above.

Locked BO is the oposite of dynamic gameplay. It was done before and didn't really work as you describe it.

How many times have you been guarding a BO for 10+min before any action at all just to get overrun because 3 out of 5 were AFK? ...virtually every single time. It's clear that you and me are not playing the same T1 or at least not during the same hours.

Folks dying to wc canons is not ok, it can happen but this should never become a habbit.

The only moments I have/had to sit at a BO for 10+ mins waiting is when order had vanished or given up. Otherwise I always had plenty of fights in every of the three T1 lakes and both when being outnumbered (easier to find fights) or outnumbering order players.

Anyway,
I'm sad you're having a horrible T1 experience biotek and I would suggest you PL all your toons to rank 16+ to not have to experience that horrible T1 experience in the T1 lakes ever again.

And after thinking about the BOs locking on defense/recapture, it would be difficult to initiate because 1 guy could come up to the BO and it would trigger a lock defense.
So maybe once the usage of door is in place and the current BO structure maybe it will be ok.
I still think BOs need to 'lock' in some sense. And I dont mean permanently!
They way BOs were before(a few weeks ago) The lock times were not long enough.
It would have to be atleast 10/15min lock to be effective.
Im glad the capture times on BOs was dramatically lowered!

Overall it is a lot better! 8-)

Guess you have some issues with written word. I didn't mention timers or permanent or not permanent locks. Just locks.

OK, I like the changes but please bring back the resource carriersystem. Most of the time people seem to go afk at a bo. I've seen a few times now that just 5 people killed 3/4 of a full wb because that 3/4 were all checking their mail, fb or whatever.
