That was an issue with gheal when coupled with guard from wp/dok with bugged talis vs the terrible endgame dps of the other rdps. bw/sorc had no problems at all top damage and dbs vs mdps it was the other rdps that really struggled.
Not in group vs group fights. Your rotations are cleansed and you are being chased without much time for non-instant casts.
Sorcs are great for large scale fights and slaughtering solos without support or awareness.
Dying is no option.

You definetely need to spend 45 renown points in "trivial blows" to be somewhat secure from being killed in 10 seconds against any late game bw/sorc.

I spec this to counter MDPS with crit tactic. Sorc/Bw is just detaunt and cleanse.

Or just have a healer that actually cleanses you (no WoP/BB = way less burst) and kill the BW/Sorc (super squishy and do silly damage when they are on the run from your group).

Keep in mind i'm talking from a premade prespective. If you soloed it was a different story; most of the times bad healers wouldn't cleanse you and if you didn't detaunt fast enough you were dead.

And no, i never played a Sorc/BW, in case anyone was wondering... and i will never play them (way too squishy).

Just to address this one, if anything were ever to be changed on this server from live, I'm pretty sure it would be after extensive focused testing on the change. Anything else is the wrong decision.

Mez wrote: Telen, and your just mad my BW is top damage over your AM. Once they fix flames of rhuin adding to my damage when other players in/out of the scenario, don't worry, you'll be back on top. Technically ou already are, especially with the 3 free dots =your dead from 100 feet rotations. But with the damage & healing gross numbers, your not just on top but your way on top. The pretty crits may not be there, but the constant running away isn't either.
The am in t1 is a special case their balance needs looking at in the first 2 teirs. At 13 with the dps tactic, 3 dots and extreme ap to damage/heal ratios they are ahead of other classes at that point in the game.

As Sulorie said, BW/Sorc just required you to pay attention to your damn monitors and use cleanse/detaunt.

Dont ask my am for a cleanse.

Also other rdps have to deal with detaunt only they have far less damage.

I think we're all going too far away...

My topic was juste here to report some bugs about the backlash mechanism, not to raise a troll or imbalenced discussion.
When everything will be functionnal, then maybe we could open another discussion =)

I feel like we have the usual difference in views from players than play in different situations, i spent most of my time in vainilla roaming so i never saw Sorc/Bw as a threath or anything close to that, maybe bomb groups were a hassle but it was all about not getting into the vacuum.

On the other hand, for a zerger (spare me here, i just dont know any other name for them) would see BW/Sorc as the epitome of broken, always throwing aoe from a secure position on 100% mechanic and tons of healers backing it up.

The times we used to ran a BW on my group, trust me, he was not the dangerous one.
