Do you roam solo or with a group? Well i play with guild and open WB and tbh i dont see that many difference except for the fact that when running with guild we get allot more kills so there is more medals but that doesnt mean my RR shoots up or medals flow in...Looking at chat window i still feel i'm getting only small part of the cake compared to before i took a break... maybe its all in my imagination but as i said i really feel i cant keep up with tanks/dps and really wonder what i can do to do sopeterthepan3 wrote: Do you roam solo or with a group? So here's a suggestion : Grant KB's to the player that dealt the most damage to the target . After all if you have been beating on a tank for 10 minutes it is only right that you get the kb and not the random guy passing by that gets the last hit.
Getting the killingblow is not about class, I see plenty of bad WLs barely getting "deathblows".
Hoarding all the killing blows is a way of life, basically art of making sure you land the last hit to get some in-game recognition regarding "look at me, I'm contributing".
Close to all classes have a way of snatching the last dmg before target drops to 0% HP, WLs are only half decent at it due to their close range hyperspeed megaburst, but the true masters of Killhording are the ranged dps classes, especially Sorc/BW due to vast multitude of instant cast abilities that do decent dmg from 80-100 feet. (though doesn't mean they do most dmg these days to the target, but they still remain best at doing the final hit)
And as mentioned, now DB doesn't guarantee loot, whereas biggest damage contribution does. Previously sure, do the last 1 dmg and the get medal after someone else did 9999 dmg and most of the work.
Furthermore, even Dammaz Kron addon doesn't work, so hard tracking down all the delicious deaths and kills. (Deathblow addon is decent, but still somewhat lacking compared to good old DK)
