This would be a much better scenario system, imo, because then you don't feel "stuck" at 31, where both RVR and scenarios feel like uphill battles against players with much better gear/experience than you. This really changes when you hit 40 and have 4 tactic slots and the gear to compete. If it's feasible, I think it should change.

I doubt a 31-39 would work. I just don't see enough people queuing up.
Ah that's a good point. Probably the best argument for keeping mid tier all together, but I agree generally.. if the 30s can be included in mid tier scs, then it should change.

BO sitting gives the best RP over time unless you outnumber the enemy by at least 10-20%. Then make sure you're in the zerging WB and enjoy the free RP/Medallion farming.
Indeed. But really.. if passive BO sitting / Join zergy WB is what current RvR mechanics encourages you to do.. then the mechanics really deserve a fix..

This. If I could get a full set of conqueror spamming emotes in altdorf square for 7 hours non stop, I would not have a full set of Conqueror, but my guess is that more than half the server would.

I don't have a problem with the BO-sitting for fastest RP. Its more that it reinforces AFKers to sit at the BO. It should have extra checks in place to kick non-moving players to the WC (like every minute of inactivity or something - but you'd still probably get people with macros or just a rock on their key).

Maybe it wont radically change their attitude. But the truth is that people will always follow the purple rabbit. If you reward passive behaviors with Renown.. you will have passive players. If you favor zergy blobbing to group roaming.. you will have zergy blobs..

I think if there was absolutely no way to influence players behaviors.. we would not need any kind of game design.. :)

Ruin starts at R34, Epic T4 weapons are R36, Beastlord and Rare Fortune starts at R37. That'd be a lot of high-end gear if you had the bracket extend all the way to R39. 16-31 would be more likely for the current state of the game.

Would you consider experimenting through rank 35?

This is all true but,..... unlike the 40's bracket where everyone has high end gear, and the lowly 31 or 32 is stomped into the ground, there will probably at most be one or two people in their 30's in an SC. Yeah there could the odd jackass mode where a bunch of high 30's get together and try to queue at once, but I don't see that many of them out there. If half the people in them were 30's, I could see it as an issue.

Someone who has all that gear is probably rushing to 40 anyway. I wonder what the population numbers are of people in their 30's vs. the 16 to 30 crowd. Maybe 16 to 35 and let the few ruin cheesers in for a level or 2. Right now the the 30's feel like a meat grinder in SC's and who wants to do PVE? Did that for years playing EQ.

Not sure what you are referencing to... As far as I know it's not really possible to afk at BO and get any real rewards? You get renown till Keep Rank 3, before that you need to hold 2 BOs to get any RR and resources and while you keep the BOs the keep rank rises so you can't just stay there and get rewards because you will rank keep to rank 3 and rewards will stop... Kindly explain what do you mean.
