make sure the files are not write protected and that your user account has proper permission in the warhammer online directory. have you configured launcher / war.exe to run as an administrator ? The error message is permission related.

If you have done all that and you still get this error, you can try to move out the Warhammer Online folder of you user profile path. For example move it to C:\Program Files (x86).

Did you click on the folder you have all the files in and uncheck read only. I had this same problem and it was because read only was checked on the whole folder.

Access was denied to the path or file WAR.exe!

Remove the write-protection (right click the game folder -> properties -> disable read-only) from all the files in the WAR folder and try again. You may also try running the launcher with Administrator privileges.

If you used the torrent to download the game, the torrent application may still be using the files. Either copy the entire WAR folder to a new location (if you wish to continue supporting the torrent), or move the entire WAR folder to another location to break access to the torrent.

yes as i already mentioned i unlocked litterally my whole C folder through now it doenst work and the problem, again like mentioned is that unde rproperties i uncheck but it rechecks everytime again.

i have windows 10 btw

That the write protected flag reappear after you remove it is normal, call it a feature of the windows explorer, important is that your files inside the folder have the write protected flag removed.

Dude its really difficult to help you if you dont answer questions. Again, your problem is permission related. So make sure that you start the ror launcher and the war.exe as an administrator plus according to your screenshot your game folder sits in your profile path which can cause issues, move it somewhere else, for example to C:\Program Files (x86). Have you tried that ?

i unchecked everything seperately back and forth i now moved the folder to where you said still teh same problem after unchecking

ill try to explain what i did so amybe im doing something wrong:

1. I download the torrent and let the torrent do its thing and it ends with around 10gb of warhammer

2. i stop the wrahammer running in torrent *delete* it so the folder isnt any longe occupied by it

3. i download the launcher

4. i mark everything 4-5 files not sure and click on unpack and place into selected folder

5. i slect the warhammer folder and the launcher with all files appear at different spots but all existing

6. i click on the warhammer folder and uncheck the read only option and accept, that it is also done to every file inside the folder

7. i start the launcher as an administrator and tipe in my name and passwort

8. error unauthorized acces ending in the file mythigloginconfig blablabla
