OP: My advice to you is simple. Roll a healer. Level that healer to 40 doing SCs and ORvR. Then come back and reply to your original post as if it wasn't you.

When it comes to healers unless they are good and you want to complement them otherwise bit your tongue. That is my personal rule anyway.

Darrell wrote: TL;DR: Don't piss off the healer. Say please and thank you when you want to make requests of others. Not healing one guy (which I am still confused on since you claim he was never really healing you anyway) is not the same as AFKing in a scenario. Playing the game in a way you disagree with is still playing the game. Saying the word "bro" can come across as passive-aggressive and may lead to you being blacklisted from heals.
What you basically said is "lick healer's butt if you want heals, and it's ok to troll around in scenarios as long as you are moving and not sitting still in base". Since when is the rule to get heals being nice and ask politely? Do I get asked politely to kill people? No, I just do it, coz that's what my team needs. When somebody attacks the healer, I peel, I take it my job to keep HIM alive when that happens.

Again, I'm not saying I get mad coz I die even if I have healers or something, I can accept defeat, notice I said we won the match too... his attitude to decide to take it personally is what should validate his ban. I said he only used his aoe on everyone (it's not like he can force me to not get it so I get it anyway), but if you played healer u'd know that it heals next to nothing and it can even be bypassed by tanks damage.

It would be so easy to reply to, here's what I'd say : "I'll mute whoever spoke to me in a way I didn't like, but I'll still continue playing the game, and not compromise it for everyone else by trying to ruin HIS game when HE's still doing his job. Muting doesn't hurt, to stop playing ruins the fun for everyone."

In a scenario, you need to do whatever is needed to contribute the most to the success of your faction. If you don't do so (intentionally) and with the knowledge that not doing it is going to harm the player experience of everyone in your team, its clear harassment...

Why do you even argue about that?

If a guy is healing only one guy he loses anyways. Also he looses respect and the friggin tokens :)
But yes very annoying indeed. TO avoid it either make a team or roll an engi KEGS BROH

The classic DPS complaining about healers...
So here's a question, about the OP: it's clearly indicated there that the healer was, in fact, healing. They didn't go AFK, they didn't stop healing others either (based on what's written in that post that is), just someone who was rude to them.
What exactly would this "job" of a healer be? Because according to that post, it is not to heal in the scenario they're in, it's to heal the OP and the OP personally, as that is the only thing they stopped doing. The OP compares this to a DPS literally going AFK, even though the healer - again, based on that post - did nothing of the kind.
This mentality is one of the chief reasons there are so few healers. Playing a DPS is easy - not playing it well, mind you, but you will get far less harassment from your fellow players if you aren't perfect than with a healer. If anything goes wrong, the healer will be blamed. Often even if someone else makes mistakes (such as poor situational awareness and taking too much damage because of it), it's still the healer who's blamed. If someone with a big ego is not pocket-healed personally, they will attack the healer. Here we have someone asking for nothing less than banning someone simply because they weren't performing up to their (questionable) standards and when they verbally attacked them for it, they responded in a quite logical manner.

Healers and Tanks have a hard enough job playing as is. They don't need the comments in SC chat and there's usually no upside when you call out a healer. In fact, you should praise all healers (And tanks for that matter) You never know when that healer will save your ass down the road.

Most of the healers are pretty bad. Most of the forum people will give zero sympathy.
