What about disabling renown and inf generation when zone reaches 100% but it's still contested?
Maybe players should begin battle to close it for good and open another tier to let them afk leech.

Why don't we just allow exp decreasing pots to work at Lvl 1? The issue seems to be everyone wants to leave T1 with RR25+ but the exp:renown ratio encountered when killing each other is not conducive to this goal. I'm relatively new so if the reasoning for the pots starting post-T1 is generally known then please excuse me.

We don't want people to prolong their stay in T1 any more than they need to. On live you could stay in T1 forever, and people collected the best possible gear you could have, then proceeded to farm new players. A 75% XP reduction would extend that stay far longer than we would be comfortable with, which is why the minRank to use it is not coincidentally R16.

I agree with War, no need for twinks in t1. As is for example fighting alot as i HATE afk rr farm on bos, i am lvl 11 rr 17 by the time i hit rank 16 will prob be in mid 20s for renown. Now one way to slow yoyr lvling is honestly log out anywhere other then a wc or the main city, less rested accumulated.

Its been done. Letting people twink in t1 makes it miserable for anyone who isnt a twink.

Its pretty fun for people who are doing it though. You used to get pretty competitive fights in t1 when a twink premade would fight another twink premade.

Probably not a good idea here though. It probably wouldnt help the player base grow.

Not only that, but the endless trial use to cap at 10. Going all the way to 16 would make it even more miserable for new players.
