Finally, the climate on the server is not toxic beyond belief as someone above put it, far from it. Having said that, the climate on the forum did lessen my enjoyment of the game. And this is coming from one of those without a single warning, everything is not about unjust bans.
That was me.
To be clear, neither myself nor my guild has played here in any capacity since we were driven away. It has been quite sometime and I cannot fairly or honestly say what it is like now or even in the recent past. My statement was made in regards to when we last played here and as a result of how we were made to feel personally and as a guild. Personal experiences widely vary obviously.

But didn't you got your answer? When the enemy team doesn't want to fight yours and is waiting at spawn, you should run objective to end match fast. At this point the topic was done.
If you would bother to read the topic, you would know im refering to things like High Pass Cemetary where range dps staying 5 meters from guard have shooting range to both objectives...
Also offered simple effective solution that work out perfectly in another game with very similar combat design.
Last time ive checked "no, because no, topic closed, **** off" is not exactly discussing feedback and suggestion. Maybe it is for you however, im not judging.
A discussion would be more valuable if people wouldn't use exaggerations to make their point.
In Highpass Cemetary can't do what you describe. Melee only aggro guards when moving up the stairs and to defend the points the other team has to leave spawn by a notable distance. You can kite back to safety, albeit there are plenty anti-kite tools, but you will lose the sc.
Same goes for all other sc.

One Focused mind+Flee to total safety is not "notable distance". Either way we are not discussing topic itself but quality of responses offered by staff members. Compare your own response you just wrote to what ive received there.
Just to be perfectly clear, I don't know how BDF is managed today (i honestly wished Peter and Dansari good luck back then). I am only talking from my personal experience after Aza left. And the reason i am salty about it is because i value my time (and i assume everyone here does as well). I will explain.
Initially the BDF was a place where some threads (good or crap) would be discussed upon between the lead in charge of balance and other players/staff members, sometimes for several days before coming up with a decision. And even if i disagreed with some decisions (Aza knows i didn't like Dok .ab ex) at least i thought "hey, this is nice, all that time spent moderating wasn't for nothing, we came up with some interesting ideas".
After some time though i felt like none of it mattered. Not sure if these discussions simply disappeared or maybe they still took place and i simply wasn't part of them anymore; regardless, in the end we would see several changes that were never even discussed in the BDF, and at this point i felt like i was simply wasting my time (and everyone else's who continued posting new Proposals). At one point i didn't even want to move proposals to the Discussions forum, because it would probably be declined internally in the first 2 hours and i would be doomed to moderate it for 2 weeks and pretend that "yeah, this discussion will be looked at by devs".
So, here is my tl;dr: However you decide to manage the BDF (or any other part of the community), my friendly advice is that you should be honest from the start and make sure you don't waste anyone's time.

Nice PR move I guess, personally think this is stupid and beautifully ironic but yeah. Wouldn't mid hearing torques opinion the matter, hes the only one the team that seems to have any sort of understanding of this community, despite what people think of him.
Lolwat? Could you say that again for the people in the back of the class. Because it sounded like you said “The one who shall not be named, is the ONLY one who understands this community”.

Don't be so quick to blame everything on cross realming.
They removed contribution when logging into another toon because players were abusing the whole "contribution is not lost when you crash/log" by logging in on one toon- tagging a few things- then switching to another- tagging some more things and so on, so that when the zone finally locks, all their characters will get bonus rolls/bags/credit/renown.
Thats all good, i mean good that they prevent it now, but im sure we can make it better and not punish ppl who dont want to exploit it.
Not to mention that its very unfair towards some players, i know some ppl who have multiple accounts for each character, and they are not affected by losing contribution - stupid me that i didn't think about it...
That's a bit excessive, but that just goes to show you to what lengths people will go to exploit any and every possible flaw in the game's design. Give them an inch...

I don't think he's even bothered to click this topic as there really is no point. It's just a welcome back/vent your grievances topic.
Azarael is really the only one that matters since he did not play a big, if any real, part on the matter and can offer some-what, or seemingly, unbiased insight/opinions/solutions.
Perhaps a good idea would be to have a central point of reference detailing the team's views on what the classes should be, their play styles, how they play, strengths, weaknesses, interactions and synergies with other classes, ie the fundamental concept behind each class, and where the team wants to take the classes in terms of balances (no easy task).
Then maybe the balance forums would be more productive. Suggestions could then be made that push the classes towards the team's idea of each class, in a more collaborative way within the community. Also preventing wasting time on proposals that dont fit the team's ideas.
This would also have the knockon effect of us better understanding the changes that are made, as we can see the direction we are going, how the change fits into the teams class concept, and that their is some kind of long term plan/reason for the balance change.
This is a good point. I will set something out shortly.
See, he listens.
I was going to write something similar, but not quite articular or comprehensive, on the current AM/SH balance forum discussion, because it's hard to contribute anything of value if you don't know how they intend the class mechanic and class as whole to function.
When Mythic first talked about the class, they said that healing will make your damaging abilities more potent/effective and your damaging abilities will heal and- well- deal damage, but that's not what we got...all the mechanic really did was reduce the cast time of your abilities- some of which were eventually converted into instant casts.

Having been on the team I can say that without torque this project would not exist considering the amount of work he put into it, it would be far worse off without him. The reason everyone dislikes him is because hes honest and people don't like that, he tells you how it is. This community is full of egomaniacs, hard to move things along with that.

The argument has never been about the amount of work he’s done. I think you should read through the novel to get a better understanding as to what everyone’s problem is. Never has the amount of time spent on the project come into question...
I wouldn't go as far as to say it is full of- it has its fair share of, "Do this, or my whole guild walks" "I know what's best for server," people but most of us just want to help the server move forward.
There's no denying that he's done a lot for this project, but the problem is that he's not open to any feedback or constructive criticism- it's ultimately his way or the highway.
