Gliding Mount

Would it be super difficult to code a new mount that drops vertically at a slow and steady rate? And perhaps allow us to steer while "falling"? It would be a fun thing to grind for (look at the mount-aholics in WoW), and it would make Dragonwake a dogfight. I know it would cause a lot more people to get stuck, but hey, that's life in the warhammer gamebryo engine. The issue I foresee would be people getting into areas they aren't supposed to be in, but a few invis walls could fix that. Or casters getting to areas where they can't be reached. But I still think it would be a fun addition. We could try it as a temp item to see if it breaks the game.

he wants more ganking possibilities
it would be op in eataine/dw/black crag etc. where there are mountains around rvr areas
one of the worst ideas I've ever seen

I never said that. Don't put your dipshit words in my mouth. Just trying to think of fun ways to add to the game that wouldn't require too much dev time.

Actually, you are right! Sorry for misunderstanding your intentions!

Let's add more fun stuff to the game where server is being crippled with information! It's customized anyways so who cares!

On live we had flying mounts, I always thought that was quite funny.

Against. Partially. Not allowed if flagged for RVR and long cooldown after unflagged. Fun ok, but don't crack the fun of RvR.

I think something like a lame mule would be much more fun. A mount that has a very small chance of dismount 5-10 percent, has a standard runspeed buff, but periodically trips over it's feet and kicks you off. Could be inplemented during a live event where all other mounts are disabled and mules cost like ten copper. Just spitballing off this not so good idear.
Fley - Zealot Domoarigobbo - Shaman
Squid - Squig Squit - B.O.
