[Suggestion] Make Gunbad Excavator gear BOE instead of BOP

The Green gear that drops in Gunbad is named Excavator Gear:

It is not super duper gear but still one more level then lvl 39 precursor gear.
The thing is, that it has a talisman slot and on DPS and Healers you have "Hate Reduktion" and on Tanks you have "Hate Increase".
Meaning this is ideal gear to tank a boss/lord or damage him and don't be on aggro 99% in 5 seconds.
Because in Dungeons it is not that important if you can do that 2k crits, but if you can manage the aggro of the mobs.

So it would acutally been great if the devs could change it from Bind on Pickup into Bind on Equip. So that players can actually buy missing items from the Auction house.

in my opinion, if the players want that gear, they must run gunbad. gunbad is a good dungeons, where the players learn to do hold aggro etc. BOP is very good.

Yes, but I have far more Excavator gear in my back for other classes than for myself. And I think I will have Redeye before a full Excavator set. :)

While I agree on the bind on pickup thing (running dungeon to get gear is OK. Not a big deal, either from stats or salvaging perspective), Gunbad is still far too hard/long to do considering the investment required versus the usefulness of the Redeye gear.

Compare it to Beastlord ; require balanced 40 full group but useful gear with cloak, tome and ring for most classes, and all gear is collected in at worst a couple of hours total.
Meanwhile, Gunbad require very experienced players with nearly endgame stuff, with complicated and challenging tactics to not be wiped each and every time by bosses, even those in most PQ before the final bosses.
Taking 1-2 hours average for each wing, without very good drop, and with RNG requiring an average of 12 runs (so about 20+ hours of painful PvE at least) to collect a gear that only serves as requirement to access the Sentinel one (wich is far shorter to run afaik).

So gunbad gear is not the problem ; the difficulty/longevity of dungeon is. Either make Gunbad shorter (less mobs to kill, less HP on bosses, less PQ maybe ?), or make it for lv 36-38 players to adjust quality/usefulness of gear to its right place.
Not even mentioning Conqueror is both funnier and faster to collect with thos price reductions, and makes RedEye gear even less valuable... :/

At last, make Gunbad a place where everyone can help other people to get gear, even with full set (like I do regularily with Beastlord and Sewers quests).
Actually Gunbad is a 2 hours painful run for everybody, to experience again and again until we finally drop the gear (6 runs atm and only 2 boots and 1 glove, for me... :/).

are you kidding me? gunbad ist not too hard or to long, each wing you nned -60-90 min (if you know the mecanics), and i beg you, that is not hard or to long, this time range is perfect. or want you all easy, if you want this, thaen you are here false, then you can play WoW, there is all easy and fast, but here you need patience. gundbad ist easy, if the players know, waht they to do

Oi lad, this suggestion is not for Gunbad or Redeye Gear. But for the green Gear that drops there.
Even though, Gunbad was nerfed recently and most mobs have greatly reduced health points.

good group takes like 40-50 min per wing

This, i think, is a good idea actually. Devs put lots of efforts to make it really nice, nostalgic place, but with forts out and all those new sets (look at onslaughter after its buff, its now actually worth farming for cr40 chars and for some (like WP) its even close to BiS) its better to actually further adjust Gunbad to live-like state (T3 dungeon). This is not actually a good activity for a cr40 char, you are forced to do it now cause of city dungeons, but this move will increase population and farming for city. I think its right direction.
Anyway work done to make Gunbad challenging at the start was not for nothing.

Excavator gear is fine to me either being on equip or on pickup ; considering Hate Modificators useless (never had problems to manage aggro on mobs) I will not be bothered about them being bind on equip, and able to buy them in Hall.
Not much to get from those items anyway, aside from salvaging to get lv200 essences (wich is not a reliable way to craft +24 talis in either case).

(Sorry for hijacking your thread btw, but I'm still frustrated to lose 90min of playtime trying to get 33% chance dropping a piece of gear that I, as most of us, will never use, meanwhile I can reliably get full Beastlord set in about the same timeframe with lv 35+ random people).
