Only one token please

May we please combine the token system so that scenarios and rvr give the same currency? I don't really enjoy scenarios but I love rvr. However, all the tier sets seem to cost scenario tokens.

It would be great if we could combine all of them into just one token for gear so that you could easily transition from set to set. Level would determine which gear set you would get and you would still need a certain number of tokens. The difference is you could earn the tokens by doing whatever you enjoy the most.

Please consider this. It would vastly simplify and improve the current system.

There are different tier sets found in SCs and ORVR for each class. Current philosophy is if you want the SC tier sets then you have to queue for SCs. Vice versa for ORVR. It keeps both SCs and ORVR populated instead of each person only choosing to do one or the other.

While I'm a fan of unified currency, I genuinely fear SC would become even more irrelevant if the few bones it has (rr45 weapon/dom) became accessible to all via RvR (which already rewards with a variety of different items/weapons/gear pieces).

The currency difference also enables progress control , if things could be interchanged then prices would become excessive for the different sets just to stop day 1 saved tokens being usable to get the whole set. Additionally the different aspects of the game lose importance rvr, sc, pve etc all have different forms of currency , this ensures that if you want those things you need to take part in that part of the game. Not everything should give every reward.

you just want to switch the game in easy mode. Scs and rvr have completely different style of gameplay. if you want sc gear you have either to learn sc gameplay or undergo an endless row of defeats. this game is not easy and this is how it is always been. live was much worse, you should be happy of state of the game now. you certainly will be much more disappointed of the pve's set system if you think that the sc's set system is broken. if every set is obtainable through ORvR the game will simply die since there will be no reason to do Scs or dungeons. the comunity as whole need to recognise the existance of ppl who like sc or pve and the fact that not all the game revolve around the ORvR.

If this would be a good and thoughtful idea, it would have been implemented long time ago.

Current updated sc quests gives at least 4 extra tiered emblems. That means you get 6+4 emblems minimum on a scenario win.

Tyranny weapons had their cost reduced by a lot. A 2h now costs 1500 emblems, which means you would need at maximum to win 150 scenarios to get it. If you win 10 scenarios a day you can get in 2 weeks.

If you think that 2 two weeks is too much time to get your hands on a potential BiS weapon for your class, playing MMOs might not be your cup of tea.

No one is forcing you to play scenarios and playing them is not mandatory for gear at all. Even for DPS Tanks/healers the new PVE gear might be a option if you dont wanna play scs.
