The real Reason why nobody plays Shieldspec WP/DoK

There are no options for shieldskins.

An easy way to fix this would be to replace a couple Buckler skins from the vendor with BG/Knight skins.
I am obviously not asking for epic quest/endtier skins but replacing the leveling Bucklers with appropriate levelrange skins from the renown vendor would do wonders.

Keep in mind these shield were'nt in original client. They have been designed by the team. With time, i hope we will make some other orginal appearance skins.

I am well aware about the amount of work that goes into creating game objects, that is exactly why I suggested to use some of the skins that are already in the game. Having only one available skin is very limiting to character customization.

There are plenty shields in the game that have a reasonable size to fit the style of a wp being medium armored.
Unfortunately I can't bring any examples for Destruction side since I only own a DoK, but I am sure there are plenty medium sized shields as well.

If WP will have normal shield it will be easy confuse with knight

A couple weeks ago i saw a DoK with a BG shield, so i think you can change appereance.

this is correct.
I had alternative skin of knight shield for buckler.
first it was fun, later it felt like i was less targeted by ranges.
it had actual impact on game playing.
less ranged threat = better performance.
so i changed back to buckler skin.
buckler shouldn't cover torso.

Nah, Warrior Priests will still be recognizable as the derpy looking bald guy in a dress, even if they are carrying a shield.
