Crimson Death was made undefendable by Torque, the reasoning being it was a 13pt skill.
Wave of Scorn I can't remember the reasoning for that.
Elite Training was given a special value by Torque so it would actually parry the next 4 attacks and it wouldn't be effected by things like Rampage. I suspect that might be the issue with Oathstone. It might not have been given the same special value as Elite Training.

crimson death already did a lot between the damage, the crit debuff and hastend doom debuff, all in a great 40 ft AoE

it didnt need to be undefendable cause the entire malice tree synergized so dam well to make crimson death amazing a true reason to go 2H, one that many of the other tanks lack

what was he even thinking...

and his reasoning was 13 points? where was that when he left rending blade useless....
