Good Evening, I hope you can help me. I'm real psyched to start playing again.

Make sure you run the launcher as administrator. Also make sure read only is disabled, on the game folder.

Ah, I knew to run as administrator, but I didn't know about disabling read only. That did the trick. Thanks a lot! :D

Heya. So what happens is when I press Connect I get the small window of the game, all black with some sound effect and shortly after the WAR cursor is shown it just shuts down by itself. This is the error log I'm getting.

Data.myp:
System.Exception: You need to stop application currently using the following file: data.myp
at MYPHandler.MYPHandler.WriteFileToArchive(FileInArchive archFile, MemoryStream MS)
at MYPHandler.MYPHandler.ReplaceFile(FileInArchive archFile, FileStream newFile)
at RoRLauncher.Client.UpdateWarData()

I have disabled read-only, made sure to run it with admin priviliges and closed uTorrent if that was messing with it. I did however notice the folder keeps reverting to read-only by itself whereas the files within are not read-only anymore.

Seems the torrent application still has access to it, even after closing it. I tell people to move the game folder to somewhere else, so the application doesn't have access to it anymore.

Then make sure read only is disabled, and run the launcher. It should work.

Still a no go. Downloaded to drive D: and copied all the files to C:. Disabled read-only again as well.
