This ... ^^SigmarPriest wrote:btw i read that People give equip and Gold away to new Players. I really really love this attitude. This is something that help us that helps the community a lot.
Really big thanks to People who do this. Be nice to new Players help them when you could that is beside the dev Progress the biggest Thing that help us to make this Project to a success.
Witches Blessings.
I feel that this is something overmissed in the whole "pointing fingers"/"labeled hate for farmers" generalization that as been the current on the forums as of late.
Seems people have forgotten that it is a small selection of players that have caused these current problems of exploiting and not the overall population of those that farm to build guilds and help other players.
What Sigmarpriest wrote here, is something "Naraes" and I are firm believers in. We spent a fair chunk of our gaming time building an inventory to help us, our Guild and our friends who need. More often than not, if we aren't trading, we are giving gear away to those that we feel are polite in needing the help. Often too, we chat with other farmers and have a laugh.
It saddens us that matters have come to this in-game and are only keen to get back to having fun with our Roleplay/PVE/RVR Guild.
So thank you for the consideration and acknowledgement Sigmarpriest towards this affair, we believe in having the best game possible and community too.

Nene.

Re: Some thoughts on the economy of the game
The vast majority of people are friendly, and will help new players gear up/give them gold. I was fortunate enough to experience this myself when starting off, and as such I've made it a staple part of my guild's 'persona'.
However: there are a few players who hoard all of the loot that they themselves do not even need, and then sell it off/trade it among eachother; a sort of monopoly. New players who genuinely need the gear are either: a) forced to try and get ridiculous amounts of gold; b) to camp lairs with these people who don't give a toss if the gear that drops is pertinent to any person's class in their vicinity.
tldr: there will always be assholes in every game, the consequences of their actions resulting in economies like this.

Re: Some thoughts on the economy of the game
A few players have disappointed me recently due to greed..
On one occassion a choppa saved a marauder from being killed by the emp lair boss then the mara got the weapon drop the choppa needed and instantly put it WTT. Such a selfish thing to do. If that choppa didnt save your ass you would be crying in WC.
And then there is the silly prices of gear.. 50g for Bloody Shield and 200g for a galerunner +10 toughnessjewel... jog on mate!

Selfishment is starting to become common. I can only wish that the gold and item wipe happen soon. Would be a blessing if it happens today, right now, the sooner the better.Gritcake1986 wrote:A few players have disappointed me recently due to greed..

Re: Some thoughts on the economy of the game
iirc Lairs should always drop blue and not the galerunner stuff that they currently do? So if they fixed Bloody/GR drops as well as lair stuff and then Reset all items, everyone will be happy. wishing for this to happen soon.. well i guess everyone is

Nalgol posted some time ago, that lairs drop also gale stuff because the respawn timers are lower than on the mythic server (should be 12h).

Re: Some thoughts on the economy of the game
tbh, better 1 or 2 guaranteed blue items, than ~6 greens in the same time. since lairs tend to drop more green than blue in the first place i would gladly take a longer cd.
