Agree with Tesq, but the timer should be longer, no less than 30mins. Just making a zone lock something as usual and simple as taking a BO takes the fun out of it.
Tiggo wrote:even worse Tesq: enemy was able to prevent the lock by NOT queuing SC. This was the worst design i ever saw in a mmo.
Tesq wrote:(...) 1 strong premade can make impossible to lock that way. (...)

Thats why ppl didnt queu. U gonna loose, so u recall them to join scenarios, and the other realm wasnt in the mood to go scenarios, but they see it as a task to lock the zone, and suddenly they face the recalled ppl... they stop queuing in the very second.

It was at the end.

At the beginning of WAR for a long time it was like now + you had to do PQs for Zone Lock (not possible now).

AH okey thanks dana

Like what Tesq said, I like the idea of an auto lock after X amount of time holding all BOs/Keep(s). This way it would make oRvR more engaging. I also think that with how scenarios vary with the wind, they should be removed from the VP calculation to have a zone flip.

If timer happens, forget the mixed ideas and get the deepth of Tesq's post. EVERYTHING ELSE will be removed. There is no need to have anything else to PvP in the area when the objectives NEED to be captured or recaptured in a setted amount of time. The only diff will be that they will be the focus of the zone, but i see it as fine; all players wanting to PvP WILL KNOW EXACTLY whr the enemies are, either defending or attacking an objective. That said, i repeat that no less than 30 mins if fine, zone locking shouldnt be as usual as taking an objective.
