Agreed.

Or weave it in some set bonuses.

Shield WP/DoK regain essence by hitting the enemy. You might have misunderstood the design of the spec if you need more

And while closing the gap to the enemy with help of the skills designed for this they have 0 resources left for anything.

Alternative 1: Bring the cost of the channel-skills to kinda HTL-level (and reduce CD probably).

Alternative 2: Build in a chance to reg some resources for beeing hit for shields/sets. Even some heal-sets have this...

Question is- during city ets its already best to spec full defensive as dok/wp. Should shield give RF/SE regen, why wouldn't I just go full backline Dark Rites/Salvation heal but now with shield and 30% block?

I am not quite sure what you mean by this friend? Surely you can close the gap by simply... walking up?

Grace does not need a buff to RF gain. You're literally playing the class wrong alongside bad positioning if you think so.

But sure i'll bite, lets say your positioning is trash, or you've been punted into stagger, or even just a punt. you have three ways to gain RF at range before you at back in the melee train.

1) jump supplication for quick ticks
2) judgement
3) smite

During the above you're consistently moving. your shielding grace is your root/snare breaking which again you will jump cancel unless you're running through a puddle. nothing else will be snaring you, if they are then you are in melee range making the above 3 points irrelevant as you'll be gaining huge rf from your melee abilities.

Stop asking for stupid buffs for grace, just play better. once you do that you'll eventually realise the actual weaknesses(not that it is overall weak, its a strong spec).

I'm pretty sure this would just be forcing all salv builds into wearing shields for the extra block rating. Not gonna happen. You want RF, hit things in the face as Sigmar intended.
