5 Vanquisher med. or a duplicate Vanq. piece

I finally got a gold bag on my character that I'm trying to get some gear progression on and I get the option of a Vanquisher armor piece that I already have, a genesis piece that I already have, a subjugator piece that I already have, or 5 vanquisher medallions. Really? 5 Vanquisher medallions? That is the best you can do for winning a gold bag? Why isn't it 20 or 25? It may as well have a memo included that says get yourself something nice or don't spend it all in one place.

well, way back when vanq was top dog, it was a pretty good deal. They need to go back and look at lower level equipment sets and how they are aquired. Should speed up the process for Vanq and below. Maybe price reductions or up converting of currency. officer - conq - conq to vanq etc.

Vanq is still 900ish meds for a full set so still a decent grind. That being said, if ur active in rvr u can finish ther set fast. I'm 4/6 and still waiting on remnant genesis.

To the OP, it really takes 0 effort to get contribution. Just sit in a warband and half a** ur day and u can get a chance at a gold since it's kinda rng on rolls. Take the medallions and keep on grinding. Soon as u get full vanq for tok u start getting invaders then invaders to royals (1) in a gold.

The best is trying to get contribution in all the open zones, only to reach the cap for bag roll => is better get x3 roll options, that stick in only 1 zone...

The glory of it is you can spend an hour in another zone, lock it and get another gold back and get a piece you have or a piece you don't have.

Point im trying to make is even if you get inconvenienced by repeats vanq is still pretty easy to get in the grand scheme of things. Spend like a week playing max and you'll have like full vanq and 3 piece invader. Maybe not if you play with pugs-bands only.

Also if you lock the zone and get a lot of contribution you get like 20 vanq medallions as lock bonus so your request is already given!

Don't spend it all in one place, bud.

You know what they say about assuming right? Makes an A** out of U and ME. I said it takes 0 effort to get gold and u can do so by afking. I didnt say I do that. I prefer to solo roam, cause u know which hunter. saying "I finally got a gold bag" is implying it took effort in oRvR. if hes talking about city or fort yeah it takes effort to get a bag depending on class.

Again dont assume ones playstyle off a statement about how easy something is to do in the game and the minimal effort one could technically put out to achieve it.

I would imagine most people probably get 20-30 vanqs a day. So at 900, that is still what 36 days to get a full set. I doubt people play as much as folks think. The vast majority play for fun and probably no more than 2-3 hrs at a time. Don't act like you can just play 2-3 hrs a day and get 900 vanq medallions in a week, cuz that's not how it happens, especially if pugging. Invader is even crazier to get for the average player, let a lone WL or Sov gear. I am just saying they need to free up the dam's that are Conq / Vanq / Invader. Keep the WL / Sov in check, but free up the lower tiers.

Isn't the 20 Vanq only from successfully defending the end zones before fort? Don't think I've gotten that many from any other zone yet.
