Iam dissapointed of the Coin-Loot in PQ´s

Dear Return of Reckoning Team and Community,

the change with the loot in the PQ-bags to only get coins takes for my opinion a lot of fun out of the game.
Getting an directly armor or weapon was one of the best factors of the game. Now you get only the coins every time....
Like this i´m losing more and more interest in the game. I just wanted to let you know this and maybe other players can give there opinion to this.
I think for new Players this idea destroys the early game experience and the fun of Public questing.
Maybe you can just add the coins in the bags as an option, but still let the original loot be there to choose.
In think this was the worst thing you guys introduced in the game, just a bad idea. :(
Can i somehow do a survey on this topic?

Greetings Ryougi

Personally I actually like the coin drops more, but imo there needs to be a bit more coins as I don't see people repeating the PQ 10+ times to get a full set - by then they will most likely have already moved on way before that. I know I did when I was leveling up my Shaman in PvE to take a break from T4 zones.

One thing that other mmos have that this one doesn't is rare drops. So I agree I'm also sad (not by the example you gave) by the lack of rare drops. Dungeons are just grind-fests for armor and influence and nothing's a rare commodity. It's fine to have influence rewards and bag drops but the only rare things in the game are purple seeds, gunbad jewelry, and armor frags and the thought and effort put into those two things are questionable I guess...

TLDR: not enough rare drops too much grind. War isn't supposed to be a korean mmo last I checked.

There are blue and purple rare drops from creatures out in the world, and from PQ chests before the rework (I haven't checked the PQ's to check if it is only coins now)

I like the coins idea since it makes it so that you can actually get the set by soloing normal quests but i agree the amount of coins is quite low.

Unless you start doing pq way before the gear is your level, you are likely to pass its utility level before you manage to get enough coins for the full set.

The same gear drops as before should still be there on the PQs, the coins are supposed to be an additional option in the loot bags. If the other gear options are missing for some reason, that's a bug.

The amount of coins in each bag increases for each chapter. From 1 coin in a white loot bag and 5 in gold in first chapter in the tier up to 5 coins in white and 25 in a gold bag in the last chapter of the tier.

But, in the game you have the Lair bosses, the Rare fortune sets, and in dungeons you have the blue seeds or the Gunbad jewels (in gunbad), blue or (if you're very lucky) purple...
if you need more rare drops you can try to get the ToK jewels and unlocks, some of them require random drops from mobs and the RNG is painful...

I found the issue causing you to only get coins and crafting items in PQ bags. So this will be fixed in next hotfix and PQ bags will contain the same items as before but with the coins as an additional option.

Lair bosses- items are useless at t4 except single lair boss with regen jewelry, even more so since sov got added. Rare Fortune is very outdated- its useless to any toon which can use it, unless you somehow got to lvl 40 with under 40 renown. Blue seeds aren't much to speak of- realistically quite a few of them are worthless (sold at ah for a few silver, and for a good reason), and even the good ones are only worth just a few gold. Same as for blue gunbad jewelry- even the two good ones aren't worth much anymore.

The only good ToK jewels are Winds set (and 2 from Tooth I think it was set for some very specific class/spec combinations), and those aren't rare- for that matter, they take lot less time to farm then any dungeon armor set.

So its back to what OP said- the only rare drops ingame worth to speak of are purple seeds (not even all of them for that matter- gl selling str/heal power liniments), purple gunbad jewelry, and 175+ purple armor frags.

Anyway, my hope is they bring back the ORIGINAL lairs, and give them some better gears (we heard about purple weapon set, so why not :D) and give the equivalent of the gubnad jewels to others dungeons (most of the optional bosses in BS are useless, it's sad).
And why do not add some fragments very rare drops that you can earn from some bosses, and with enough fragment you can buy a pet ? (only cosmetic but sooooo cool :D they are in game code just allow people to use them)
