Hey guys,
I was thinking it would really help promote small scale 6 man (even solo or 12's potentially) roaming if the devs changed the emblem drop rate to be increased the smaller the group. Like 6v6 or solo. I was specifically thinking the royal/invader shards, but it could even be all of them (to promote groups of all levels roaming). The bonus could also be negated if 15+ people contribute to a kill (that way you won't have multiple 6's or 12's running together to game the system).
Just a thought, but I think it would make the game even more fun with more small scale things going on. Lmk what you think

Unfortunately, I believe the system would be exploited, you could x realm farm and gear up very quickly on lower rr toons
I think as you share more renown and loot in smaller parties, the rewards are already there.

Loot rolls are already handled at the group-level. Increasing drop rate for smaller groups would kill warbands, and would just have multiple groups roaming around together without being in a warband, taking turns killing enemies.

Well when running my 12mans we're already swimming in emblems, I don't think that should be an incentive for people to roam around, and as the poster above said, people will just blob but stay in smaller parties so it doesn't matter.

Its absolutely simple.
In a group of 6 Mount speed should be increased by 30%...
Problem solved.. There is your motivation to 6 man roam. You can actually maneuver and avoid zergs....

What are you gonna do if you avoid fighting the zerg, just gank soloers as most trash 6mans do?

To bring back some extra juice into small-scale vs wb/blob, best 'promotion' in my view would be to bring back the ability to spend RR points into Resolute Defense and perhaps also Cleansing Winds..
Their removal was in my view a significant shift/loss of capability for small scalers to engage larger forces.

ye RD and CW were very handy for small scale, but highly OP when an organised wb used them tactically... why not make it so that RD and CW if bought from rr are only activated when in a 6man Not when solo or in a group smaller than 6 or larger than 6... so you spec for them and lose the points opportunity if you stray outside of the intended use. Thus pigeon holing all the people who want to use them nicely.

gank from a wb but anything smaller than 6 should not be able to use it to get away from the 6 men?
