Keep/Fort Lords and Morale

Howdy and welcome to this eventual flame thread!

Currently, City lords from Stage 2 do NOT produce or sustain Morales. I love this change personally. I would ask to have the same mechanic transferred to Keep and Fort lords for the same reasoning. Now, Keep lords aren't as impactful, as there is rarely a keep retake, and if so then morales generated on Lord are rarely a deciding factor.

This is not the case for Forts. A jailbreak push is incredibly difficult, due to the fact you are engaging an Enemy with full M2+(if not M4) across the board by the time you get there. I have seen frequently in my short time returned, and many many times in my previous installments of RoR with the defender side jail breaking, return to main/post only to get pushed/wiped by the attacking side since they have Morales and we got nothin'. And they have the numbers advantage, but that's normal.

Would this change "ruin" Forts? Or as I believe simply give the defending side 1/2 a chance of retaking Lord room?

I support this suggestion.

The attackers already have a numbers advantage and once inside a terrain advantage which is no joke so to add some dynamism I think it would be good to only have morales generate from player combat in the fort.

Was a great change in stage 2 of cities and would b in forts also.

Keeps I’m less sure of. As u say there are few retakes and what ever kills the lord and moves the game on faster is better imo. Less riding on it than forts after all.

I like this idea, it gives Jailbreaks a bit more meaning. As of now a jailbreak is basically like LOL FREE RENOWN for the attackers.
