Who cannot log to the game, try disable the antivirus (same issue again).
It worked for me (Avast).

Just got kicked doing a Fort and now the Login server won't connect. I closed and reopened the launcher to verify no patch. Anyone else?

Yep, got booted after fort door went down. Assuming server crashed as I can't get back on.
