DC / Crashes and No contribution

It would be nice if contribution wasn't instantly reset upon disconnect or DC.

1) If you're in the middle of event and suddenly IRL happens that shouldn't negate your contribution to that point in an event. I'm not saying that it should be saved "indefinitely" but 15 or 20 minutes doesn't seem like a lot to ask for.

2) In a similar vain, if you're involved in an event and suddenly get disconnected / crashed thanks to YOUR client, it shouldn't reset your contribution to zero. That is completely asinine. It should be saved and if you reconnect then it should continue upon reconnection.

The genesis of this post was getting disconnected as a fort lord was at 2%. Naturally upon reentering the lord was dead and naturally I didn't get a loot roll or anything. It's completely asinine that a non-voluntary action tied to issues with the client completely negates the last 30 minutes of activity.

I completely understand people not getting event credit if they logout or DC from an event and don't come back in 20, 30 or 40 minutes. I do not understand how you can get zero credit if you get DCed and come back in 30 seconds. That is completely asinine.
