A somewhat more mercenary take on the matter is if you get rofl-stomped hard enough there is literally no reason to stick around as there are no rewards.
PvP is a consensual activity. If you want people to hang around and be your entertainment you need to give them a reason to keep throwing themselves at you. Punishment rarely works better than encouragement.

Hmm it's only strategic if everyone is in on it, I have in the past (very successfully) deliberately played to a standstill in order to prevent a city or allow another zone flip to occur. However, everyone in the warband knew the goal and was on board with the idea. Here no one is in on it and therefore people just see it as leaching, leaving cause it's going bad or afking because it's going badly.

This will become less of an issue over time. Destro will soon learn that pushing Reikwald and not going is pointless, stage 2 finishes 5x faster now and all the defenders flood into KV/Eataine anyway. The double push failed tonight for that very reason, and after enough of repeating this same nonsense eventually they'll give up on it.
In the mean time, order can enjoy 1 royal 3 invader at Reikwald.

Being able to Opt-out of getting a fort reservation, or giving up your fort reservation soon as you get it, could help these cross pairing strats abit.
As it takes time to build and fill pug warbands, and if you are first in queue to get in after reservations expire, you are probably last to get invited to the good warbands as they take people first who are already inside.

there should be bigger penalty for pushing fort, than leave it and bigger reward for those who defenf fort. game is already boredorm. trowing forts happens not because of 1 -10 player dont need tham byt because of fmj.
forexample push reikwald if destro leave it in firststage , penalty is reset zone to t3.
and yes quitter debuff for that fort should be avwailable, if u leave sc because u see premade u have quitter, byt in fort u dont have quitter debuff.

Another order-whine-thread... At this point i doubt that there is any aspect of the Game that you havent whined yet....
This is not the first time you tried to devs punish destro for using proper rvr stategies...as always, trying to win in forums what you cant win in the Battlefield.

And may i asked why?
Cause late comer get jacks for joining, That why. I join with my marauders at 40min in stage 2 . Cap 2 BO, kill enough order to get 20k rr and I get a message saying "you don't have enough contribution" and yet those leavers whom leave just after stage 1 get 2 invaders.
Solve this and ppl will join. Maybe don't reward those leavers and give those whom stay and contribute the 2 invaders.
