So this is what warhammer does, and a lot of older mmos did and still do:
Time and effort invested = power level increased.
This is healthy for the community for the following reasons:
If you truly believe you are doing everything in your ability to set yourself up for greatness:
then you shouldn't be surprised when you lose to players who are doing the same **** as you, have more playtime and knowledge and better gear beat you, and a better setup. A lot of people are like me who are neckbeard overlords when it comes to warhammer and have several years of this game under their belt. It's a sad truth but yes you must put in some time and effort to be to the point where you can single handedly kill a healer in full sov setup, but the cool thing about warhammer is you always have a fighting chance because you can group up and coordinate **** and if you do that, you're already better than 70% of the community because people still don't understand how to group up and play this game correct to this day and its so funny. And if you want to argue and say people in sov who are bad don't exist, I have see definitive proof of them everyday I play this game. There is a reason why warhammer has a term for the unorganized playersbase, "pug". It's because when you actually "chad up" and "neckbeard out" you get so much more **** done and the game feels infinitely different.
It's fine to be upset and its fine to want to improve and get better at the game, but to whine and say, "aww too big a gear gap to win any SC's and loot." is some baby ass loser mentality that doesn't get you very far in the game.
My advice to you is to try asking questions and getting more game knowledge and joining one of those many guilds who have veteran players to teach you a few things. Pm me in game if you are Destro side, I enjoy teaching players who are new or seeking correct playstyles because its a blessing to truly play with other people who are on the same level as you, and creating better players through spreading of knowledge is a lot more fun than just telling you vague **** like, "you're just bad." or "group up w/ other players."
