It does not change the fact that across the guild discord channels im memberships of, people are leaving or "taking a break" in droves.
about 20% of them have quit in the last week. Some in solidarity with disabled/disadvantaged players, some because thier family members cannot play, some because they simply don't agree with the change. People are also leaving because thier old dungeon/scenario team mates are leaving.
It is actually happening.
Arguing about what is/is not unfair really doesnt change that fact.
Personally I would like to play, but actually cannot.
My daughter has also decied to stop because she knows I cannot play.
Two of my guildies agreed and also stopped, and one of those has two kids and his wife that stopped because he stopped because of me.
That's seven people quitting because one person can't play. That's just in one guild on one discord server.
Out of those seven I was the only one using NB as far as I know. So it isn't really about whos using it and who isnt. People are quitting because thier friends or fellow members are being driven off.

NB is not cheating. NB is not a big deal, and yet people who played with it can't play without it? Everyone stops playing because they wouldnt play the game on normal terms. Your daughter obviously just play because you do, so NB doesnt really have anything to do with it.
Sad to hear players quit because they cant use keybindings and think for themselves. This is a PVP game, not monopoly boardgame. Keybindings have been a thing in these games for decades.

And earlier you pounced on details such as "aimbot" and "counterstrike", its not really relevant. Aimbot in counter strike is classified as cheating because it automise something the player is supposed to do him/herself. Namingly AIMING at your opponent. If you wanna dismiss my comparison because Counter-Strike and Warhammer Return of Reckoning, are not the exact same game, or aimbot is a script and NB an addon. Its all up to you but you are really just missing the point Im stating. Both automise a basic mechanic of the game.

its mmo game. Not quake. Good player its not who click first. U need to have good ui. Know yours char. Know enemy. Map. Enemy U fight. And friends.

Let's simplify this (as if its ever gonna get into your head)
Without macros I use: M5, M4, M3, Q,E,R,T,G,F,X,V + 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 as keybindings. The abilities I cant reach with my fingers I have a special bar sized up with certain utility or buff abilities that I can click when needed.
Its fair that you can use an addon to create a sequence with atleast 5 or more of those abilities on one button? An addon that automatically pop up a possitional attack because youre at the persons side or rear while I have to hit the correct ability suited for the situation?

Friends, have nothing to do with NB. Gankers have friends.

Your stupidity knows no limit. If cultivating becomes a PVE based profession, fine I wouldnt need MGRemix. Problem is the vanilla cultivation window is a big ass thing that would block part of your screen in PVP and force you to sit in IC/Altdorf just to cultivate for hours. Cultivating itself doesnt really give you an edge in PVP does it? If anything it's crapping down your own FPS over time. In massive RVR MGRemix is hardly viable to even have enabled.

Since NB is recognized (by people on the forum and administrators) as a cheat addon. It is necessary to take the next step - everyone who has ever used this addon has made progress of their characters in a dishonest way and must be wiped immediately. All of their characters must be zeroed to level 1, and all equipment and gold removed.

Of course, if NB is really a cheat addon. )))

Of course you can't. But until 28/06 it was legit so there was no pregnancy. But now something changed.

While i say "Much respect" to your button olympics, it is/was your decision not to make your gaming easier by using NB for simplying the button olympics. Right ?
So you shouldn't blame someone else who did simplify it for himself while the use of NB was allowed/tolerated. It was your decision to use the hard road instead of the maybe easier road.

In terms of positional attacks, I bascially agree to you but let´s be honest, does it really make a difference in a zerg ? How often do you have an 1v1 and this positional dung is important ? Usually when there is a 1v1 somewhere, it mostly takes only a few moments when someone else (from 1 to grp to wb) pops up and "joins" the 1v1. how important is this "automatically" positional dmg then ? Nuts. You are dead anyway. But that is only my personal experience. Mybe you are a luckier person than me and have real 1v1s.

I would still say let the player play how he wants to play as long as it in the allowed range of possibilities. If you chose the hard way, life with it. If someone choose the easier way, life with it.
It´s the same with some recommendations like "buy a 100 button mouse, buy a game pad like orbweaver".
Sure, it´s a possible solution. But it´s maybe not available for everyone due to some RL reasons.
NB is basically available for everyone, and it´s a personal choice to use it or not when it was tolerated.

It doesn't give any edge in PVP, who cares? Automation in pvp seems a problem for you, maybe automation in crafting offend someone else, who do you think you are judging what is more important?

Literally any addon can use the API to do exactly what NB did.

the fact that the "team devs" want to gatekeep who is allowed to use a sequencer and who is not is literally hilarious and speaks volumes about those player's abilities and desires.

tl,dr; some devs who never really learned how to play complained that some nerdy computer bros who made better tools than they understood how to use.
