Builds based on CRIT CHANCE are being displaced almost entirely by builds based on flat dmg.
I would like to restore the balance.
The disproportion is due to several things. The first one is WS stack (flat dmg) which increases our survival rate because we have more PARRY. Secondly, higher WS results in more effective RIPOSTE tactics.
The third WS stack (flat dmg) makes TRIVIAL BLOWS and FUTILE STRIKES ineffective against this build.
Generally we are tougher and inflict solid dmg without requiring anything from the player.
In my opinion you could give TRYHARDs players a chance.
There are classes that have access to 7th sov/warlord bonus like proc 9% crit chance + 12% crit dmg bonus.
Why not replace in SL/Choppa the ineffective 7th sov proc bonus 7% CTBC debuff on target with the bonus like others have with the 9% crit chance + 12% crit dmg bonus proc?
This would give more character building options than the now mandatory mixing of 5 + 3 or 5+4 or 5+2+1 sets.
Such a solution would not change anything for those who prefer FLAT dmg, but it would give a chance to those who look for other more demanding builds.
Please again at least take this into consideration.

I guess I would be ok with it overall as a set bonus change. However I still wouldn’t run a 7 pc set and still stick with my 5+3 set build.

I think it's time to bring critical set bonus back to 4th piece instead of 5th and new 5th would be +2 career points(like it used to be) on ruin/anni/merce so +2 to all paths. Remove all +2 career points from sove/warlord sets because it is not logical in any way to have those.
I agree on proposal regarding getting bigger variety of set bonus procs/wpn procs to choose from. It is now basically 450dmg dot for 9 seconds. 300 dmg proc. Run away proc. I mean those are basically it these badly need new wpn/gear procs that can actually make difference.
Why not give dps 2hander's avoidance 10% proc ? And for dps classess 1h 10 % on attack chance to increase avoidances by 7%. If 1 wpn could take care of that while having another good one on another 1h (2h with procs should always get 2x procs)
While back before they changed t4 epic quest procs in very big way, for example wh/we had anguish IX 5% on hit to snare 46% for 9 seconds with spirit dmg dot lasting full length as well.
Proc effects need to be " very nice " for them to do something, bring back most of the old procs pls=) Also sove/warlord/bloodlord magus/engi are actually good examples of only amazing set when having 15%+ crit dmg on 4th piece AND 7th is 9 %crit + 12 % critical dmg (remove +2 and this could be 6 piece bonus)

You forgot one thing : debuffing multiple targets, for you entire realm, by 7% ctbc is HUGE, especially when you are mostly AoE damage.
Destru have a chosen who can reduce 10% on his party, none of these counters in Order.
It's basically a 7+ % damage increase for every marauder, WE, and pretty much every other class with %crit damage increase (even more for sorc).
I vastly favour a debuff on enemy than a buff on me, since it benefit to everyone around.

Np for me if we switch this to 9% crit chance and 12% crit dmg, still not gonna switch my 4/4 5/4 5/2/2 etc.

1. You are wrong, this proc pop only by ST ability/AA, so no aoe debuff.
2. This proc dont stack with BG/KTB CTBC debuff.
3. Its a proc on target. When its finally proc (or not) u need swap target ect. (wasted proc).
4. Choppa/SL is a damage dealer not a support class. It is for everyone else to support (buffs/debuffs) me and not for me to help others.

I know Mergrim you are right but knowing how ID is op vs the ridiculous GTDC I will never fight for an accurate mirror for a choppa. WAR has always been special because no class mirrors were ever identical and I wish it would stay that way. Of course I would like this hopeless free immun GTDC to disappear from choppa skills.
