You can say that of all healers, AM/sham definitely has situations where they outshine the others, but so does the others, as it should be.

It was mostly an ask to improve QoL for ranked, that I think won't impact too much outside of that (since it will mostly hit multiple targets in WB).
It definitely shouldn't get reverted though, as it was rightly given after big nerfs to AP Drain and puddle.

Anyway, since 4. (+5.) will also improve healing output I've removed it.

Thanks for the constructive feedback ;)

Stop trying to buff classes that do twice DoT damage as any other DD, and already are strongest ST healers in game, thanks.

If anything, the damage potential of both classes should be toned down. It's an aberration such classes can self-heal with so much escape tools (for the Sham at least), while doing litteraly 4k damage per DoT ; 2 shaman/AM dots, after 40% mitigation it's already 5k HP gone.

You just 4 DoT anyone, run away and see them die. Big gameplay indeed.

At least sorc need a critical hit, full mechanic points and a specific sequence application to hope doing as much as any dps AM/Sham is doing while running away... :/

Issue with AM/Sham is combination of 25% damage tactic + 25% damage from mechanic, wich is achieved by one heal cast ; there is no build-up, it's full +25% damage for the full duration, instantly.
Wich is also equal to (25+25) * 145% = 175% average crit damage = +30% crit damage, wich is pretty much equal to DPS tactics. It should NOT exist to such extend on HYBRID heal/dps classes.

Do you play AM?
How do you think these specific changes will improve the solo aspect?
You realize that for AM to do what sorc does as a ST party dps (not soloing), they need to cast 3 times as many abilities, half of which are non-dmg.
And AM has it's own rotation, this is not something exclusive to sorc/bw.

Or is your argument that any class with some functioning aspects (for AM: heal, solo), shouldn't be given improvements to other builds (aoe/st dps)?

Hey,

sorry to derail your thread. I stopped playing about 8 months ago but back then AM/Shaman were, overall and in my opinion, the worst healer in the game. Reading the comments in this thread would suggest that something changed and AM/Shamans are now fine?

Could someone point me to the relevant changes?

In regards to the proposed changes. It doesnt really look like anything new that hasn't been proposed in a similiar iteration in the past years. But I wish you the best of luck :)

Have both am and shaman.

Their st dps is way over the top when you add the resist debuff and crits.

400-500 dot ticks and 1200 bunch of waagh or searing ticks is normal.

On top of that if you use the mechanic for % more heals after dpsing the tactic that debuffs your heals doesnt even matter.

Both classes are over the top.

It seems you don't even know how those skills work. Play them.

AM base skill is already better than shaman one and with tactic I pick it over shaman auto detaunt any day.
