How about lowgear premade vs highgear pugs with random setup? I would bet on the premade.
You lose, when you have less coordination than enemy team, no matter the gear.
Before someone complains about premades, they should fix all misplay.
Sounds fun i would bet on the high geared pug. Another question whats low geared for you?ruin becouse ruin conq is common gear in random pugs? Vs. Sov pug good luck on that 😂
Ruin is T3 bracket gear. I think we talk about r40+ here, no? Having said that, A few pieces ruin is pretty decent on any tank class albeit I would replace it with 3 redeye.
Sov gear players die just fine. Sov gear doesn't equals player skill and no communication is a big factor.
I will admit, gear is a pretty convenient excuse for losing fights since NB isn't publicly available anymore. ;^)
Dying is no option.

There are times when the fight is about even and people call for surrender, when it could still go either way. I dislike people calling for surrender when you are ahead in points but behind in kills like the next person (shoutout to killboard btw), but changing it is an outright stupid proposal.

Scenarios exist, where one side gets absolutely stomped. Be it because of clearly well geared and co-ordinated people, individual better equipped and / or better players, people queueing solo and refusing to form premades, whatever the reason. In Situations like that, it is very apparent that you got no chance of winning the scenario. That's what surrender is for.

Cut your losses and move on, these things happen. Taking the option to surrender away not only hurts the side wanting to surrender, but the winning side as well. Because both would have to wait longer to get into the next Scenario. You can't expect people to just outright yeet themselves into the meatgrinder, when the outcome is THAT predictable.

I am taking people that get stuck in the fight, eventually realise they get their asses handed to them and then call for surrender, over people that go afk in scenarios from the very start any day of the week. (Whatever the reasoning for that might be)

Giving bad players an easy way out instead of improving is not good for the community as a whole. Making only players rr80+ able to start a surrender would fix it, thanks.

You didn't get the responses you thought you would did you? :)

ps. I have never surrendered even once, but I do see why it happens and am for it for those that do want to surrender.

Surrender is to prevent prolonging one sided stomps and the strong team from farming graveyard while ignoring the objectives. Even "Good" players cannot win if they have bad class compositions, less gear/levels than enemy, fighting premades, or gets less players than other team loading in.

Furthermore, prolonging these games will make the side that is losing less likely to que again afterwards if they know that they will be getting farmed at graveyard for 12 mins instead of 5 with no way to end the scenario which is also not healthy for realm balance.
Correct. ^^

I honestly thought more people would be as sick of the constant surrendering as I am. lol. At least half of the surrenders I am thinking to myself we could win this if these half-wits would try.

I think there are 2 different types of people that play this game.. 1 - They only are here to fight in scenarios as team death match. This type of player will never do an objective and instead will only go for kills. Often this person despises dying so if they are in a scenario and cannot even achieve 1 kill, surrender is the obvious choice. 2 - They want to win the scenario and only focus on objectives; often ignoring a fight completely. This player is often a tank and will never be found using guard as it could get them kill this preventing them from their precious win. Despite the odds, this type of player will blindly run toward an objective and hold onto hope that they can still get that cap that could turn it to a win. Surrender is never an option even if down 50 - 0 kills.

It is possible that a 3rd type exists.. one that is completely lost, doesn’t know what the objective is nor cares about kills. These types could even be rr80+ and still have no idea how to play.

I'd prefer matchmaking could work with rr and dev team could spend more time in something like this than change a tool that is working perfectly because you enjoy farming pugs.
