What if you and your friends want to do it together? You get one shot every four days. Not much community building in that.

Re: No Real PvE community
I don't see any harm in this. We want the game MORE accessible to more players, not less. This won't hurt anyone in any meaningful, game-impacting way.

It's not 4 days anymore iirc
RoR doesnt deserve being taken seriously.
Re: No Real PvE community
The pro of the old system was you could complete a run in more than one session, maybe a system which allow to reset lock but if you want keep em for 3 days would not be bad.
The design behind the lock is to NOT allow too faster gearing, example in 1 week you go straight into rr 60 gear zone. This altought have some ankward consideration to be made:
-it disadvantage more the ppl with more avaiable free time since they will turn fingers in between dungeons locks or of course play pvp. Usually the game benefith who spend more time in it. Not saying wrong or right here just this is a total opposite approach to what the game is designed.
-it was designed to be repeatable multiple times... either to make the content last longer or to slow the process of gearing further.
For what i belive if the real concern was the gear speed, link the pve set to a min renown level would solve the issue, while leaving free player of a certain level to spam dungeons. If there are also ppl willing to focus on dungeons more of their time if they can do it consistently then it would benefith the game in the long run if the original approach of gearing speed can be reapected.
I know that historically pve sets werent link onto RR on purpose but lets be clear, the way the pve lock is designed for is to achive the same purpose of slow gearing progression that the renown rank requirement is designed for pvp sets.

Re: No Real PvE community
would be nice if there was some open world dragon boss where you need a WB to defeat them like in other mmos
Re: No Real PvE community
