Items matter only ideal conditions (mirror match up) - same groups, same skill lvl, same terrain, same level of communication etc.

Hence items does not matter if the difference between green and purple/blue is lesser than 20%.

Only item which is a must and I admit it makes a difference is purple Chalice for Dok (and its mirror on WP).

"Items don't matter, but this one does!"

Do you happen to play a dok? And if 20% doesn't matter does that chalice happen to boost DoK healing by say over 20%?

The difference between Woe and green gear is minimal. Rune-Scribed gear can be a lot better, but 1 or 2 of these items don't make a big difference either.

Also RvR and Scs are what this game is about and when you get some drops form it you should be happy.
Pretty much always afk or tabbed out.

I haven't gotten a single blue drop since I made my WH over 2 weeks ago. And I have been playing A LOT. And those 2 blue drops I got set me up with ~200g. Had I not gotten those I would be eternally poor which is a problem for probably 90% of the population on this server.

The medallion system works, so just make the gear available to purchase. You still need to ORvR to get the medallions. Therefore, players play the best part of WAR and eventually ALL OF THEM are able to acquire the gear = WIN WIN situtation.
Exactly... the idea is vendors who sell the gear for tokens ... tokens you can aquire tru pvp and orvr... not silvers like old wow p servers. Especially you get something back for investing ur time.

I think all guys who are arguing that everything is fine atm are those guys who farmed a lot before the pvp dropp hot fix :/

And its impossible to get even blue gear because one time you have to pay 100g+ for one item or they only want to trade for an item you dont have ... so we are in a crunch :/

and again: AN MMO IS ALSO ABOUT TO GET BETTER GEAR TO DISTINGUISH TO ANOTHER PLAYER AND NOT ONLY FOR STATS!

i think best solution as AZ already mentioned is to implement vendors for tokens ... and for those who are crying, e.g. for some items like the chest an higher amount of tokens so it maybe take 20 or even more sc to aquire this item ... watch TERA or WOW they also have such a system and it works fine...

I would support that last answer. I got most of my Woe gear before it was put on PvP only.

Also it is hard now to safe 15gold for your mount. In the past you were lucky in farming and found a woe Ring you could sell for 20 Gold and have your mount.

Currently I have Greed on everything, and need only on the stuff I could use. As this is the morally accepted behavior.
While this got me a Woe Bulwark I virtually make no money out of PvP to buy anything else.
The decision of the devs brought me into the RvR Lakes in every minute instead of shooting orcs. But currently when the lakes are full, or destro rampagin in untold numbers I actually didn't find anything usefull to do.

Great. :D
Not intended but great nonetheless.

Back to topic:
The remove of Woe and Runic Gear from the Mobs worked as intended. Getting the people into RvR.
But as RvR let currently exploding the server every evening when there are 50vs50 people in it please reactivate Woe Gear on Mobs. The old drop rate should be good.

No. Even if the drop rate was 0.000000000000000001%, a lot of people would go back to grinding Gors.
