Fixing Surrender Abuse
Can we put a limit on surrenders, beyond the 11 minute mark. For example a 250-300 point difference minimum.

Re: Fixing Surrender Abuse
Why?
Balance the game instead.
Forcing people to stay in spawn longer doesn't make sense.

Re: Fixing Surrender Abuse
Can't balance good (or, more often, brutally bad) players.
RoR doesnt deserve being taken seriously.
Re: Fixing Surrender Abuse
Since this answer pops up every so often when it comes to anything concerning balancing or the likes:
Why not remove solo queueing altogether?
Oh wait, then there are no easy PUGs to farm.
To be honest, the current surrender system is fine. Once you realize you are being farmed because you are facing a premade team, there is no other option since pushing back beyond that point yields no reasonable compensation.

You cant take solo qs away.Voldt wrote: ↑Tue Aug 01, 2023 5:58 amSince this answer pops up every so often when it comes to anything concerning balancing or the likes:

You willingly or unwillingly agreed on getting farmed, when you queue solo, as you roll the dice with no influence on who you are matched with.Voldt wrote: ↑Tue Aug 01, 2023 5:58 amSince this answer pops up every so often when it comes to anything concerning balancing or the likes:

You can queue for solo SC only with less frequent pop rate but at least there the enemy team rolls the dice as well.
Dying is no option.
Re: Fixing Surrender Abuse
Since its unusual for a discordant sc to pop non-stop (sometimes happens though), people are trying to win "sc like discordant" playing normal sc lottery. Sometimes you do win, but, since its a lottery...Sulorie wrote: ↑Tue Aug 01, 2023 7:03 am You willingly or unwillingly agreed on getting farmed, when you queue solo, as you roll the dice with no influence on who you are matched with.

Btw, there is no reason to feed enemy team if you have no chance to win by default. All this "don't give up we can do this" stuff actually helps to get people farmed, and, since premades did get what they wanted - they will be back for more. Its a pity that guard kill does not benefit your team in any way, because that way you could at least hope to get something.
Atm, if your team can't kill a thing, there is no reason to participate in this farmfest, sc victory reward isn't that significant and does not motivate to play BO, unless you are doing event.
P.S. If only we had more population...Insta-pop discordant can mitigate this issue to some extent. But it is what it is.
