Warhammer Online - 10 years since shutdown

10 years ago, on December 18th, 2013, The Warhammer Online servers were shut down. Join us in reflecting on how far the game has come since the original shutdown. At 12:00pm Altdorf/CET, we will be running a twitch drops campaign, to remember how far the game has come in the past 10 years. If you'd like to read more about Twitch Drops and how do they work, please checkout this thread.

The drop campaign is scheduled for the following time:

Day One: Monday 18/12 - 12:00pm Altdorf/CET to Tuesday 19/12 - 11:59am Altdorf/CET

Reward 1 - 10 Magnificent Fireworks - 15 minutes watchtime (total)
Reward 2 - Potion of Acclaim - 45 minutes watchtime (total)
Reward 3 - Stalwart Soulstone - 120 minutes wathtime (total)
Reward 4 - 100 war crests - 210 minutes watchtime (total)

The system for twitch drops has changed, instead of having drop dependency, (ex. You claim drop 1 after 15 mins then start your progress for drop 2), you now get progress for every drop. The watch times for the rewards reflect that change.

I just started RoR a few months ago, and was there the day they killed the servers (still have the FRAPs footage of The End) so this kinda feels like closure

I'm still sad they shut down the servers. But i'm glad the devs keeps it alive, and is trying to evolve the game into a game that is still up to date.
