Following my last post where I proposed some changes to the BO system I'd like to keep developing the idea with a more dynamic PVE system integrated into ORVR
Current problems:
1- Current Box running system is not very interactive and is boring, just as it was waiting standing in a BO to earn renown.
2- BO's are not dynamic points that actually bring some help in the battlefield, are just points to be taken while you are running boxes or when you want to lock zone.
3- BO's are completely outside of the keep sieging / defending method, both factions focus on keeps when its time to attack / defend.
4-Little groups, solo roamers or even half way do not provide much more to the battlefield agains big blobs.
5-Blob VS Blob is fun up to some point, afterwards is boring.
Now, considering that eventually all of us will reach RR80 what we want is a truly endgame that is fun, gives rush of adrenaline and it keeps you hooked for some hours at any given time. Users now log only to this kind of content (ie. cities or forts) avoiding the major part of the day orvr.
One game that provided me countless hours of extreme fun is "Dynasty warriors" saga, faction against faction where you engage tons and tons of pve mobs while you help advance your own PVE army, conquer key points alongside them or defending some other points. Could be this possible in RoR? Maybe.
The idea is when the pair opens each faction army start advancing towards BO's, key points, alleys, the first BO's they reach will have PVE mobs from the enemy army waiting for them, once cleared they can advance to the other two BO's, then last and eventually enemy Keep.
The important part, when pve armies face each other they will engage in an endless fight UNLESS players are engage to help them.
PVE mobs will continuously (or perhaps in waves ) pop from Keep and moving towards different locations depending on the state of advance.

Bo's once taken will pop up "resources runners" on the opposite directions and towards their keep, these could be ambushed and stoped and gives another work to lil groups.
The idea is having a chaotic battlefield full of PVE mobs moving towards enemy keep and engaging any random fights they find, lil groups could merge with them and following them, they must be some badass mobs, some punting, some healing, some attacking maps some rdps, a good composed 24 mobs of an optimal WB perhaps thematically inspired depending on the pair open (elves, orcs / dwarves, empire / chaos).
During low population hours the system shall provide some fun for the low pop, during blob vs blob population the system must be tweaked to force the split to cover many different key points to ensure the siege, a solo player could push his whole faction towards enemy keep if playing solo but having an incredible hard time (as he would have playing solo in a dungeon).

Perhaps its difficult, perhaps its not, perhaps its just a crazy idea of mine, just please do not be TOXIC to each other and do not turn this into another skill balance fighting post, I believe this system could bring some life to the battlefield and watching PVE mobs fighting each other makes the lakes feel more alive even if they are empty.

I love BO rework ideas. This forum could be just this till we something new and i would love it.
I was a Dynasty Warrior fan (first game i ever played on the PS2) but this idea made me think of Dota 2. Instead of a mostly static sea of NPCs we have to cut through, could it be possible to make a "npc waves" mechanic, with checkpoints along the way you gotta attack and defend? We keep thinking how to split it blobs, well here you go. Make it so a blob is avoidable (in some maps, i doubt we can do anything about Caledor for example) by going for different lanes.
And BOs don't have to be checkpoints, capping them can work as a buff for NPCs. Thats where the smallscale nerds can have a big impact on the lakes, in maps we have distant BOs.
This would add so many new mechanics. A weaker WB can use NPC's position and spawn times to stack a big blob of NPC to walk with, making them a real threat. We could make relevant many different spots on big maps, creating fun terrain situations. We can also give massive Renown from completing some of the steps, like maybe every X minutes a "siege NPC" spawns and if he reaches the enemy Keep, the whole zone gets a 10k RR tick.
I'll volunteer my time to go over every map and figure out mechanics and pathways if a Dev says they like this idea and its possible to implement.

As well love different idea's about Bo's! Discussin all aspects of improving the PvP for objectively as possible is always encouraged. Imo bringin the Resource Carriers you need to R click to move. 25% Mounts and they can be healed and killed So fites will form around them and they are moving even when attacked.
No players need to run the resourses themselves. Also Champs on Bo's Back is important! After killing them 10s Capping time breaking on all dmg. Make Starting Keeps Random! Keeps things as fair as pobbile! Also Capping Bo would heal Keep Door if it's under attack 25% (Or if this amount dont work suggest) Respawning on keeps if Inner Door is up. Keep Door Should def be attackable by Melee healing, Lifetapping, Autoattack and Dots. Increase its Hp a bit.
After Bo guards killed Underdog realm 2min30s and 3min for Bigger Realm to lock Bo for 10m. Nice RR etc Bonus obviously. 1 player can take bo but will take a bit time. 2-3 takes them easily and 6+ Can Defend Bo for 2-3min vs 18-24 with 9aoe cap and Morale dmg cap removed and powerful CC added back to game. M4 with 10s aoe Disarm to very early game M2 30ft to all directions Dok/Bw 5s aoe stun. Existed before staggers did But 3s Aoe Kd Morale would be welcome! And no 9s aoe staggers but 6s is acceptable easily.
Easiest changes with positive impacts on players would be Allowing Cross classes/Realms Appearances from already existing green lvl mob drops. Adding already existing Things in Aor/RoR like Set bonuses, Wpn procs or even powerful existing one off items. Some examples would be Ellysium/Screaming Cat T that Were instances/Big lair type thing. Order can do Ellysium during Ic Siege and Destro do Sct during Altdorf Siege. Heros/Lords dropped 6% Melee Crit Chests, and Mythic Belt with High Resis and 3 Talisman slots.
Things that would obviosly fit, and All gear between Order Female and Destro Female Gear Fit each other. Vice Versa for Male's. Dwarfs and Greenskins Excluded obviously But Orcs and Dwarfs have more gear than other races and all Dwarf/Orc gear fits every other Orc/Dwarf. Shammy/Sh can wear some Dwarf things like shoulders and boots that fit them: D So the Possibilities are endless. Imo Having option to just have Shields/Wpns on your backpiece appearance and wearing them like they do when mounted.
