I do not know a proper channel to give positive feedback to the DEVs - so here you go. The channel is called "Feedback".
I am posting this because of a chat in general channel today where somebody called the DEVs amateurs but in a positive connotation. I wanted to send my response to anywhere, where a DEV might actually read it:
You got this!
You might have been amateurs or not 10years ago but with the current quality and development lifecycle of >10years you are nothing less than reverse engineering professionals and a feat like that can be put on a resume for job applications!
Keep on the good work!
<- One grateful fan
Praise for the DEVs. Nothing more, nothing less.

Re: Praise for the DEVs. Nothing more, nothing less.
Thank you very much for the feedback. I truly appreciate reading it, and I'm sure the others will too. I'll make sure they can see it!
It is not a professional game studio, but it doesn't mean our members aren't pouring their hearts into the project or can't create quality work. There are ups and downs, but the development team is always working hard, trying to improve the game at all times, so we can all keep having fun with it.
Having worked with a couple AAA projects, I can say the effort put into RoR is often exceptional.

Sometimes there's a lot of whining and negativity towards the game in the chat, but for all that whining to be possible there has to be a playable game first, which is what the team is giving us for free and that is exceptional. For this we are grateful.

Thanks to the team for providing us all countless hours of entertainment for free at the expense of your own time. It's very much appreciated. /toast
If in the years to come the game gets to the point of entering beta and you're looking to promote it, i'd love to see a long-form video documenting the development history of the game. Something like the Skywind videos where we get a behind the scenes look at the development process and story behind it. The fact you had to basically reverse engineer an entire game from scraps of code and have created a product that in many ways surpasses the original is pretty insane and a video about it could be great promotional material for the game.

I agree. I was delighted to find that there even was a Warhammer Fantasy MMO, but the depth of it makes it even better. Bravo devs. I look forward to what they do!
