can we lower the price of the tri vic slot 3 rings by 50% please & refund people if they already have it for the 9999 that they paid so they can just re buy it, RoR is super grindy as it is let alone adding on a 10k grind just for a ring & ranked is dead & 95% of people will never touch it so telling people to grind ranked for a season is laughable & un realistic & most people say its only 9999 cause a dev or gm had that amount in their bag at the time of pricing it

The ring price was set to 9999 out of bias for earning it via ranked, which 99% of people don't want to do or can't because ranked is dead 99% of the time. If it was not ever considered a rank item, I would expect it to have been given a price around 3,500 or at least some mathematically derived number from the prices of the other pieces. It is however an item that is the last piece of the puzzle, gear wise. So, it should be the most expensive but making it 9999 is obviously out of place. Just remember this is a private server with a small team, so their personal bias is going to be glaring sometimes.

Don’t get me wrong, hate the price but invoking unsubstantiated roumour and conspiracy theory around the pricing is just wrong.

Fact Check True. Initially the 'server' didn't want Victorious gear available to non-ranked players but when it was made accessible to all some penalty had to be attached so the prices are what they are.

Which is kinda sad because ranked could be fun. If you got in with the right group.

Nothing stops you from doing Granked. Build your group and queue up. There are certain guilds that even "spar" internally, with insignias being available outside of the season. If you think about it, compared to how difficult it was to achieve Triumphant Jewelry a year ago, the current situation is pretty much a giveaway.

I spent the 10k and would happy let other people have it for cheaper with no refund to me. The 10k price was and still is absolutely obnoxious, as was adding "Replica" at the end of it for some added snobbery.

Then again, the other issue is that there is a huge power gap in slot 3 rings that can take the talismans between Sentinel and then Tri/Vic. This could be resolved by taking the talisman off slot 3 entirely and making - for example - chest pieces have the fancy talismans instead. No more "need" for 10K Tri/Vic rings and opens up more gear combos.

great suggestion. either chest or head slot would feel best for the "crown jewel" talisman. the added build diversity would just be an icing on a cake.
