You know, something different, something opposed to the Never-Ending Story of Blob Blob Blob Blob Around The Clock.

Also, if 'everyone' just played the winning side, you could give the winning side a ten-thousand percent damage increase because there wouldn't be any enemy to employ it against.

Id quit the game even if it was 1 in 100 chance. It was one of the biggest issues on live when some of us were walking around with far better gear melting anyone who came near when sov and tyrant gear were only available to the winners.

People would just log the winning side over and over to zerg a fort till they got the reward.

I think what would be great would be if they put in something like all zones are open and then you have to take them and when you get to a fort and take it it locks that pairing. When you lock 2 pairings then you get to attack the city but both destro and order have a chance to win in city and get rewards and where the loosing side also get rewards based on taking part.

Great post!

I think cosmetic rewards and / or incentives such as RR gain increase for anyone fighting to take a keep / fort and anyone defending a keep / fort. Also, please make the campaign have meaning again in some way.

Then you would quit.

But you are correct, let's not do anything. Just keep the overall RvR system the way it is and has been for years now because doing the same thing over and over and over and over again is what really pulls people in.

Plenty you can change in the rvr system without giving the other side an I win more easily button. Now all the 'I want an org city' people have quit just put it back to the way it was, there is a reason it ended up like that on live as in a single realm vs single realm you cant really do much else for a campaign.

I have to agree with Gara.

Power buffs for winning is a really bad idea. It was done on live and resulted in a snowball effect of stacking a side until it destroyed entire servers.

Even the more benign version of the "star" system for you city (which had various economic buffs) was ultimately abused by stacked sides.

People seem to keep forgetting that to have a PvP game you need to keep the outmatched side "in the game". The winners already got their reward ... they won.

Anyway, some cosmetics and stuff for rewards. Sure. Power. No.

Doing nothing is indeed not solving the problem, but your suggestions would be aggravating the problem a thousandfold. Hanging more carrots in front of the side that is zerging fort after fort after fort would already be questionable, if we were talking about purely cosmetical rewards, but then also buffing the side that is dominating the server throughout most of the day... lol
