It is not stupid, it's "casual friendly". By the way, changes like war crest unification, capital siege on timer, dungeon bosses simplification - all of this "casual friendly" changes.

Let's get my personal stats from oRvR. Only EU prime time. No BOOM nor renown potion. 2.5h(with some AFK) of play with all boxes, BO, keeps, zone locks. Garbage PUG - avg. 45 000 renown and 80 war crests. Guild WB in voice - avg. 85 000 renown and 200 war crests.

Some math with assumptions:
- x2 renown and x2.5 crests for organisation and good performance
- 300 renown and 0.5 crests per min like lower bar
- avg sc time with no surrender 7 min
- pre sc time 1 min
- wait time in queue 1-3 min (lets ignore this)

And we get:
- 2 400 renown and 4 crests for lose SC with no surrender
- 1 200 renown and 2 crests for lose SC with surrender (if I correct, surrender after 3 min)
- 4 800 renown and 10 crests for win SC

Not so many for losing or winning, and without any kill rewards. If some how toon will get 40 lvl with no renown - 3 570 losing SC and it would be 80rr with 14 280 war crests, with SC for 7 min every 8 mins - 476h of being dominated. With renown pot - 2 856 SC, 11 424 war crests, 380h.

Green geared 40 will get with pot on wekend sc will 4 200 with no surrender and 2 100 with surrender, still will get 0 for afk. Get some progression being punch bag in name of 80+ bis players, sounds fair. At the end, not so big reward for such humiliation.

SC, Ranked, and City all must be reworked and reanimated. Its core parts of game. They should bring fun, not be brainless autowin agains those who cannot answer. Nobody have 24/7 prem, so solo querers are part of game want you it or not. And they deserve place where they can play it. Discordants was such a place, but que flooded with inting players that pref go nude/nopots/no basics into fullsov prems and feed them nonstop, leaving others only option to join and burn in that hell with them. This is wrong and this is not fun. Such topics were created over and over but here we are again. Sadly from what i see, even in rvr where 5 wb on 1 one considered normal nowadays, our game comunity dont even understand concept of challenging fair figth. Thats really sad.

Yes, i understand and share this pov myself. You've got a very strong point - joy from fights should overweight other things, particularly rewards. However if there would be some hypothetical equitable rewards system it wont hurt either. Because cases you mention are rare and its better to somewhat stabilize dopamine peaks so one wouldnt have to suffer so much to e.g. once a month be part of the greatest comeback, turning the tides and winning.

In regards to lost SC those are pretty ok made-up numbers to be fair. However they should come from somewhere, they need to be untied with kills but still prohibit afking. Fighting back hard in doomed SC (but still not being able to kill) just because and get ~500 rr for that is humiliation for sure.
Hence i was more thinking in a way that "activity" should be also tracked and considered. Thats very different thing: losing 0-500 and doing 150k dmg and losing 0-500 doing 10k/0 dmg.

Toning down the needed kills would be a great start.
win 10 scenarios. 12 vs 12 = 120 kills.
make it 100 kills to soften the grind a lil.
premade stompage will never end, so this way premades can rotate through their chars faster and solo players wont get annihilates as long

A phrase I've always liked is, "Don't let perfect be the enemy of good". This is a good example of that. Until we get those things like proper matchmaking, just change it to be a weekly event like all the other things.

it's a great idea, and i've seen some other good ones in the comments.

BUT, where is the reply of Devs here ?
Do they only read suggestions forums ?
At least we could know if the scenario system is completely doomed as it is now, or if there is some hope of improving it in the future.
