REDUCE SC weekend objectives amounts

The MMO player base is no longer teens and people in their early twenties doing 18 or 20 hour marathons. Many of us now have kids that need attention, pets that need taken out and letting in, meals to cook. What premade is going to be taking a 10 to fifteen minute break every twenty to thirty minutes?

I am going to be 62 at the end of the month. Should I stop playing because I only play two to three hours a day and take anywhere from four to eight breaks when I do?

Make the SC Event into a Weekly, just like Dungeon or RVR.
Mix up the SC maps in the rotation every week.
Make Players gather influence for SCs played, a bit more for a win, a bit less for a loss.

People have more time to do the event, less stress. No dependency on any objectives. People can play a greater variety of scs and not grind the same one for 3 days straight.
Also, I think this will ease the whole pug vs premade situation.

This would be fantastic. Especially that you don't need to play some terrible sceanrio over and over all weekend.

This gets to the heart of it. Should the game be accessible to people with families and other responsibilities or only to those of us who can commit to gaming for multiple hours at a time?

If we casualize an old game, is it still the same game? Do we still like it? I don't think so. But we can improve areas that are lacking which is, in this case, primarily the match maker. And we can standardize the objectives. No more special snowflakes that are results of... doubt-able.... design decisions.

How dare people build a group, to join a group play content!
Really, all these complain threads about premades are an issue in SC are ridiculous. Scenario is a group-play content! How can you blame a group to play group play content? How can you call group-building an issue - in an MMO game??? Dont you realyize how absurd this is? Scenarios are not designed for pugs! On live server there havent even been a Pug SC type to que, this is an extra service here on RoR.

Everyone here is open for new (or old) designs, like removing barriers, bring back guards, make 3 people ranked SC, better matchmaking and so on and on, whatever... But you CANT call groups the issue, if groups are the reason why this content is even existing! And not the SC content alone, the whole game, because its an MMO! It is designed to build groups! Thats what MMOs are about! And of course a group is stronger than 6 pugs! Suprise! Thats not an issue, its obvious, and working as intended. The most premades are not even good! But of course they are still better than the escalating bunch of pugs who run around like chicken.

The real issue are players like YOU, cause you are not able to build a group in an MMO game! This is ridiculous! You are able to build groups for PvE Dungeons, arent you? The /5 LFG is full of requests for PvE. But building a group for SC is not possible? What is wrong with you? Stop crying and use the lfg chat for building SC groups and your SC life will change! This is all you have to do. Its not that complicated. EZ. But i know, crying rivers and do **** is even more easy. How much more suffering of solo que you need, until you realize, that all you have to do, is building a group by your own?

What do you want for SC, disable group que? Solo que only? You want to destroy the game with your incompentence and victim mentality? If you are not able, or unwilling to build groups in an MMO game, maybe you really should play something else.

"if we casualize and old game" wtf does that even mean, these events didn't exists on live, what part of making the event something more comfortable to complete and a better a experience is "casualize" ?

No it isn't, ever since this game started you've been able to q solo, working solo without communication is indeed something that happens in mmos and learning how to work together with a team of players even without coms is something that often happens, learning to guard and punt and cc other tanks and healers, detaunting as healers, and learning to target focus and assisting other dps are all things you can do without coms as a solo in a sc, and fights of pugs that know what they are doing was always fun back on live. If the mode was truly meant for only premade play it would never have allowed for people q'ing solo.

Why such strong need to portray this discussion like an attack on premades, yall should be happy about a system that tries to q you against fair and balanced opponents, seems like you enjoy farming noobs not actually having fair and tough fights, because no one is saying premades shouldn't exist or shouldn't be able to q, what they are saying is the systems shouldnt be a slaughter treadmill for solo q'ers who just get premades put up against them constantly. It's not about winning or losing, even losing a sc with fun fights thru out the 10 mins of a sc is some of the most fun this game can offer, and you can see it in low tiers, you can see it back on live.

You can post your viewpoints, some of which i agree with btw, in a less dramatic fashion. Or we’ll have another 100 posts of toxicity. But maybe that’s what people like around here?

Son, i chilled the 1 thousand times before, when i had to read this bull about premades again and again. At some point chill time is over and real talk is on. Its wether dramatic nor toxic, its just the truth. 90% of the complaints about SC is pure victim mentality. And we are all tired about it, especialy the vets. Most of us so much, that we avaoid any participation in Forum about these things...

Nobody does! This is also some kind of "victim legend". Everyone enjoys good fights, nobody, REALLY NOBODY, enjoys to stomp pugs! Its the opposite, we are bored about it! Thats why group play enjoyers want it even more, that pugs stop que solo and fail, and build groups on their own instead. That would bring more fun for everyone. But no, crying rivers in Forum again and again is the way. And dont forget to blame the people who play in groups and therefore win vs solo pugs all the time!

The group play enjoyers should do more 6vs6 like in ages past tho, but for some reason that queue is freaking dead. Playing 12vs12 scens as a "group play enjoyer" because scenarios are apparently a group play only thing nowdays, sounds like a crude joke to me.
