I think the way people form their warbands with specific requirements sucks and is boring but people are free to form them in anyway that they want and there is nothing preventing you from forming your own and just allowing randoms in, in fact you get rewarded so stop whining and step up.

I mean, if they keep autokicking you, you can keep rejoining and make sure they never get a warband leader crest. It might be considered griefing, or it might be the intended reason for the "don't kick too many people in an open WB". If they want the rewards of running an open WB - run an open WB.

I would like an option where I can specify how many slots of the Warband Autoband should manage.
So that when the warband is started everyone can join but for example the last 2 slots can only be filled with the missing classes.
This would have the advantage that whenever people leave the warband, only someone suitable can join, allowing the warband to grow to a 2/2/2 composition in the long term without excluding people who have joined early.

actually yeah, this

While I think people should be able to run warbands however they like if they are using this to circumvent safeguards to get open warband bonuses they should absolutely get blocked.

nothing wrong with autoband personally.
it is annoying if they have strict requirements yet leave the warband open. if you do this, then my opinion of you is lower. but everything else is perfectly fine.
I X-Realm to the losing team to make them lose harder.

That is probably a sure fire way to get warband leaders to stop leading. In life just like in game, if your leader is not leading the way you want, or anyone thinks they can do better, then they need to lead, in my opinion.

Asking others to grief a person that is actually taking their time to lead a warband when they are unwilling to a lead a warband themselves is not a good thing. No one twists anyone's arm and makes them join a warband, it is up to that leader to lead not up to the followers to dictate how they should be lead.

even the wiki states: "If a single problematic player keeps joining a public warband, they may be kicked repeatedly without triggering this penalty."

Its only when they kick 10 unique players this triggers, once the warband is full though that does not seem to be a problem, from what I can tell.
