Try playing League of Legends for two weeks and have a conversation with anyone without getting upset, then come back here and tell me this is one of 'the most toxic communities'.

I think you're mainly complaining about jokesters and loudmouths on advice chat. 1 on 1 people can be very pleasant and nice in this game; some true MMORPG players without insecurity issues or e-peen problems. Think you're mainly speaking from conjecture and taking most of it too personally, when you start asking yourself 'why am i even playing at this point'. Seeing as that rhetorical question can only be answered like this; it's because you know it's not that bad or full-blown of a problem.

Not readying past the first 5 words, because I play that game literally every single day and have for 3 years now and the community isn't in the same bracket as this ****, not even close, as can be seen by the first 2 replies to this thread.

They pick on you because you respond, get riled up enough to log on the forums and create a post about it.

It's like you're trying to be my guidance counselor. Nobody here knows the in game characters attached to this user and if they did, they'd hold a certain prestige and more than likely carry a bit of respect with it. That or they'd be doing something not necessarily legal. Can't read past once again because of mega fallacy overload.

No idea how you've never encountered a toxic player in League. I played during the CBT and for two years after that when the community didn't even have successful ways to stop toxic players then stopped playing. I come back every now and again and typically my games consist of at least one rage leaver, or just some general ragers. I've actually yet to run into anything on the level of League in this game's chat, but I've had a lot more time with League giving me a better opportunity to witness the toxicity. Hell, League strives to eliminate Toxic behavior because of how bad it has gotten. Even in the past two years you can find plenty of topics and community issues about how toxic people can be in LoL. Just google Toxic League of Legends 2013(since you've been playing for two years), and you'll get a topic that flow almost exactly like this one with people just saying that it's what happens when 5+ humans decide to form a random team.

Any PvP game is gonna have a little bit of toxic. Sadly, until humanity itself decides to change, then it's just something you'll always deal with in PvP. I still have to disagree this is worse than League though.
