Those making this post are probably people using WE/WH who absolutely want to win 1v1.

I don't really care about DPS RP/Zealot.
Because if I see them, I just run away.
They're not that harmful.

On the contrary, I'm grateful to them because they're there to take down WE/WH players
who suddenly appear, run away when things get tough, and just make me frustrated.
(I lack the ability to perform 1v1 situations, and I also have high latency.)

Haha, good point btw :) Zeals/RPs are there to control stealthers infestation indeed :)

Albeit stealthers have a very skill-demanding approach which requires an e-sports level of tacticality, namely - they group up and kill alone soloers (preferrably pre-40) in groups of 2/3/4 WHs/WEs. Massive respect for demonstration of such a skillful gameplay!

To the subject tho: yeah, an ability to reset literally any fight a stealther doesnt want to continue (due to losing or due to enemy's reinforcements incoming) is a massive & uncounterable cheat for the environment which this fight resetting ability (as in not a single skill, but an overall "ability") is usually applicable to i.e. solo gameplay.

Just remove their bloody 100 ft instant stagger.

Other than that maybe tune down the dot damage a bit and they are perfectly fine. They are not really outstanding outside of solo play. This feels like a 1v1 topic.

Remove harbinger of doom/rune of breaking or give it a 1-2min cd. That would fix issues with the new sc queueing system and bring rp/zl more in line with other dps healer builds.

Avanos wrote: Fri Jun 12, 2026 8:17 pm The question isn't whether balance changes should ever happen.

The question is whether every time someone loses a matchup the answer is immediately "nerf it."

In the example you quoted, my answer was literally the opposite:

"Adapt your playstyle."

Which is especially relevant considering we're currently in a thread called "Nerf WE/WH into the ground."

I openly acknowledged a matchup my build struggles with and my conclusion wasn't "nerf DPS RP into the ground." It was "adapt, choose your fights, and play around the matchup."

This is OP, by the way, in a WE balance thread. His reasoning:

1) WE's are OK
2) People just need to learn to adapt
3) Let's not call for a nerf every single time someone struggles
4) Let's not nerf DPS RP. Oh, but let's make a thread about it.

Delusional or uber troll. Take your pick.

P.S I do agree with him that DPS RP/Zealot are over the top. They are. Just like WE/WH.

I really wonder if the devs will touch dps rp/zealot in the rdps patch because technically they are rdps. Does anyone have any information about it?

Not like freaking DEF WE where your garanted success and just a pure cancer in this game. DEF WE players trying to defend it are soo delusional.
Holy **** your lifesteal isn't even affected by hdb lol
Am not playing my Wp right now and that's not the problem (has nothing to do with their HDB). The problem is DEF WE even if i would channel if they got m1 ready + they get absorb everytime somebody crit soo you cant heal from an absorb. Having the best absorb in the game for a dps class instead of tactic for a tank is pretty nuts. Like i said man. Those DEF WE are delusional on an other level. Am not talking about DPS offensive WE. I Get nuke on my destro character's by WH i dont mind that since if i can survive i can come back. DEF WE you cant come back it's just dull and dumb bulletproof.
