SC matchmaker is still awful
Stop creating sc's that are 4v4, 5v5, then backfilling to 12v12 half way through. Just wait for 12v12 or 18v18. These two weekend scs have been so bad compared to last year.

I have to disagree. Some of the best scenario fights are four v. four. Particularly when neither side has a healer. And the system queuing up earlier makes pops more frequent.
As has been complained about ad nauseum, the issues with scenarios are barriers and guard placement. Scenarios excell when there are mechanics in place that prevent spawn camping.
Those measures are currently lacking. Serpent's passage last weekend is an excellent example. There's no need for a barrier because you spawn on a ship with guards milling about. The barrier just encourages spawn camping which is bad.
Other than that scenarios are gravy. So many different settings and objectives. Spawn camping is literally the only issue.

Ah yeh the scenario filling to 12 at 250 vs 0 pts because it started 4v4 for 3mins is great! 4v4 used to suck bc you got renown based on kills. Now you can actually get decent renown from 4v4.
As for backfilling, who cares? Again, you get most renown at the end of the scenario so it's actually a benefit to backfill. In fact, if you fill in with 1 second to go you can make a bunch of renown for nothing.
