No, I'm not even kidding. Many people just stand afk doing keep sieges, doing nothing. People have gotten lazy :/ Too used to get free rewards I suppose (Not trying to rub it in, Destro).

IMO Keep Sieges have been broken for Destro by two things:
1. BW stacking AoE on the door
I AM NOT calling for a nerf to BWs or Slayers. I am calling for LoS checks on abilities (which I know are either in the works or nearly implemented) and some buffs to minor abilities that could help counter BWs at Keeps.
Yes, I am talking about Discordant Fluctuation. Currently, DF will backlash on the BW only when a direct damage spell is cast on the Chosen or a party member within 30 feet. It hits for less than a basic Ravage at around 150 damage. It does not proc/backlash on Dots. Bump the damage from DF up to scale with level on par with Ravage and allow it to proc on DoTs.
Making these changes will put some utility back into DF and it will act as a counter to the stacking BW spam at the Keep doors. Even with it proccing on DoTs and Direct Damage spells, you are not looking at game breaking damage, but it will force the BWs to take a break every once in awhile at least.

- It's like standing in a blast furnace for me with max resists, and dedicated heals
For PuGs with lowbie or no heals, it's unpassable
Most PuGgers die at the door and once the tanks and Mdps are dead, Order pushes out, wipes the heals and rdps, then turtles again
- It makes trying to use the keep walls as protection worthless and positioning horrible

Until LoS is completely fixed, siege spells work and there is timer for faction hopping, oRVR is gonna be lame.

LOS shouldn't be a problem anymore since GoE works correctly (with the LOS fix) so hopefully devs just patch the rest of the fix in.Coryphaus wrote:Because the way things are rigt now, sieges are not fun; mdps has no role in seiges since bypass defenses dont work.
