Hello,
I play a Choppa as main character cause... WAAAAAGH!
But, in this server many details kill the gameplay of a choppa :
- the "Shrug it off" skill bug : it will remove roots and snares as intended, but it will also remove speed buffs, and most important, the 10s imune to roots and snares does not work, making this skill useless.
- the "mele lag" make very difficult to stay close to the target cause a choppa can't chain snare. He had to snare at the exact moment when target is starting to run away. But with this "mele lag", it's always too late.
These seems details, but the combination of these two "details" make a choppa very difficult to play (or maybe useless?), and make me want to leave the game. Am I alone to have this feedback? Is it why most of the players play ranged dps? Should I respec for a ranged dps too? But I want to play a Choppa! WAAAGH!
And another detail : the two handed big choppas have not enough dps, making them useless. That's sad.
Anyway, thanks for all the work you have done with this server! It's a pleasure to play this game again!

1) Shrug It Off removes speed buff (Charge) - working as intended, any ability removes charge, you have to use Shrug It Off first. Immunity not working - bug, fix will be pushed soon.
2) Melee lag - general problem, no solution so far. Having a tank with you may help. since tanks have better snares.
3) Big Choppas with low dps - this problem is being looked into.

Re: [feedback] Choppa's hard life
melee bug can be counteracted by inc melee range cause people are jumping cause they know it messes with and increases the bug

Re: [feedback] Choppa's hard life
Thanks for the quick replay. For the charge, my bad, I did not read enough (but an ork doesn't read!). I'm happy to see that immunity bug will be fixed soon! For "melee lag" I understand that it's a problem technically difficult to solve. Maybe Coryphaus, your suggestion could be a good aletrnative.

Are you a dev on the team? As much as you may or may not be right. Best practice is not put yourself in the roll of a dev and let them answer the technical truths of development.

He manages the GitHub bugtracker. It's his job to know what's being fixed. We don't have a forum title for that just yet I guess.Grolar wrote:Evildoor wrote:1) Shrug It Off removes speed buff (Charge) - working as intended, any ability removes charge, you have to use Shrug It Off first.
