1 int = 1 power
1 int/power = 0.2 dmg bonus
Every 5 points of int/power gives 1 dmg bonus.

On bw/sorc always take crit 1st until you hit ~70% on full comb at least. If you don't crit you miss out on 100% dmg bonus. No amount of magic power will cover that

Magic power is affecting dmg in same way int is minus the reduction to def chance. In turn it is not affected by any debuffs or int soft cap

5 mp = 5 int = 1dps increase so 1 mp = 1 int

I think it ignores toughness for DR purposes and uhh no diminishing returns
Didn't ignore toughness.

I remember testing this on Live-- it's 1 to 1. Only worth it if you have hit soft cap on intell.

There was rummors, that melee/ranged/magic power bypas toughness, but it never been officialy confirmed, so I take it as NO. It does not bypass any defence.

Its just tool to increase Your stats over cap and as it was mentioned it does not have any side effekts(strengt -harder to parry/block, inteligence - harder to disrubt)

Example:
Strengt soft cap 1000
Player has 1000 strengt and 200 melee power.
He attack like he has 1200 strenght.

Everytime is better to max main stat until softcap, than melee power.

I am not sure if critical dmg is counted differently with melee power.

5 tou subtracts 1 dps from enemy attack. If both have say 500 tank gets hit by only the base dmg of auto/skill w/o any bonuses. If one has 200 power added to the mix you will have 40 dps increase in the attacks.

You can counteract stacking power by stacking fortitude which server the same purpose for tou as magic power for int

Tou cannot be bypassed, it can be debuffed. What can be bypassed is armor, avoidances and ressists

This is not technically correct. Some skills, which do not acquire bonuses from offensive stat (and power stat), ignore toughness.
