Not necessary. As you might of seen, Max isn't regular to log on the forum. Nor is he easy to get in contact with.

Expecting him to actively post updates of what his aims to implement on the live server: Ain't gonna happen.

At least, there are change logs which will record what fixes/changes are live.

Get this idea of "Dev team owes us" out of your head. It's a fan based project done in the spare time of the programmers.

You're only spending time to play. If that hurts... I guess you can go away, because I can't help with that.

Nah, that server had only the server to client connection basics sorted - Nothing else. But on that note, it was almost, essentially the foundation of the server build we are running.

Spongel please don't comment everything that's only a critic so deperecative ...

there was the "war-emu" server before.
the point is...I also would like the have a faster progress like you...cause I love the game like you. It's not that I cant understand that people would like to see more things working.

But as elven said before...it s private server...Only few ppl are working on it...in thier spare time.
They love the game like we do.. thats why I know that they are doing thier best to get things working..

What I dont like are postings where the devs/admins get told what they have to do next (we had already dozens of threads with this kind of topic)

I know what you meant and I totally agree with you :) i know how much work it is and I have much respect for everyone helping on this project!...

I was on that server up to the day it went offline :D

Yup, given time and it will be closer and closer to the finish product.

That's the thing.... Time. Some people don't seem to have it

You begin to realise now, just what the team is contending with ;)

I do hope this would open the eyes to the people who were unsure of what or why things are taking time.
Well its true that number of developers could be counted on one hand but it would be also possible to invite/ask on the internet to see if other developers would be willing to help in updating the server or fixing bugs.

I would love to help but sadly I don't have programing skills that would help much, but internet is a big place. There should be people out there that would be willing to help and have skills to do it.If developers ask/invite maybe they could get more support. Invited developers maybe cant work full time on it and its understandable but maybe they could help the core team to finish things faster.

You can help without programming skills ... -> http://www.returnofreckoning.com/forum/ ... f=11&t=489

There is an open invitation for those who do want to help with small and trivial fixes. Nalgol made a guide on how to get set up and firing bugs :D

We've had many people come and go saying they want to help. Saying this and that, blah blah blah. They fell through and we never saw them again. The team you see before you, is the loyal, battle hardened team working on this game...
