so design change if you get critt fail you get a white tali main ingredeant now + chance to lvl up

essences and golddust are 100% now on sucessful salvage + the amount depends on the quallity of the item aka green 2 blue 3 purple 4

Well i salvaged 3 Items this morning and one of them gives me a Golddust. No Essence at all.

Except that drop rates of salvagable gear are very, VERY low here; that vid you showed was from Live, which had tremendous rates, IIRC. I had good gear left and right even in low tier; it was a matter of choosing which one I wanted.

I nvr Salv'd in Live, but read repeatedly that some Reknown gear was salvagable, was this the case?

i think it may be working more properly after tonights patch. I got plenty of essence and very few failures even on orange items with 50ish chance to salvage

think it will all get update in a major patch, a lot of related things and fix from bugtracker too.

just tryed it on live and got 2 essences from 1 green item so its live already
